The motorcycle that were created by Jean Nougier from 1936 until 1971, now sit in the Marseilles Motorcycle Museum.

Nougierは余り知られていない（Wikipediaにも大したことは書いてない）と思うが、個人の活動としたら大戦をはさんで35年間もよく続いたと驚いてしまう。
ホンダ以前の4気筒エンジンで、もっとも有名なMVが4気筒エンジンを作り出すのはGileraよりずっと後のことだし、設計自体もRondineからのPietro Remorが行っているので、（MVとGileraは）同じルーツと見ることができると思う。
その他に1940年のBenelli 250 4cylinderというのもあるが、それは残念ながら画像は見つからない。
