真の愛は、金や粘土とはちがう。
わけても減らず、小さくならないのだから。
愛は、理解のよう。たくさんの真理を見つめることで
よりいっそう明るく輝く。愛は、想像力の
光のよう。大地から、空から、
そして空想の海から、
まるでプリズムが放つ千の色が千の鏡に映るかのように、
世界中にまばゆい光線を放つ。そして誤りという
蛇を殺す、日の光の矢のように次から次へとふり注ぎ、
水に映る稲妻のように輝いて。ひとりしか
愛せない心、ひとつのことしか考えれらない頭脳、
ひとつの目的しかもたない命は、みな小さくとるに足らない。
ひとつの目的と形式に自分を縛る魂もそう。永遠の
存在である自分を墓に葬ってしまっているのだから。
