地上にこれほど美しいものはない。
鈍い魂の持ち主は何も感じないだろう、
これほど壮麗偉大で心にふれる光景を前に。
今、この都市を包む
美しい朝。静かな、何も着ていない
船、塔、ドーム、劇場、教会の後ろに
野原が見える、空が見える。
すべて光り輝いている、煙がないから。
初めて見る、これほど美しく
まぶしい朝日に浸された谷、岩、丘。
初めて見る、初めて感じる、ここまで深い静けさ！
川も自然に、気持ちよく、自由に流れている。
おお、まさに家たちが眠っているようだ！
この大都市の心臓が止まっているようだ！
