羊飼いたちと、草を食べる羊たちをながめよう、
浅い川の流れるところで。小さな滝のところでは、
鳥たちがマドリガルを歌ってる。

バラのベッドをつくってあげる。
花束もたくさんつくってあげる。
花冠や、ワンピースもつくってあげる、
ギンバイカの花や葉で刺繍して。

ドレスもつくってあげる、
子羊たちのいちばんいい毛で。
あたたかいスリッパもつくってあげる、
ふちどり模様と純金の金具をつけて。

麦わらや蔦（つた）の若芽でベルトをつくってあげる、
珊瑚の留め金をつけて、琥珀（こはく）の鋲の飾りをつけて。
楽しそう、じゃない？

羊飼いの子たちも踊って歌うよ。
