どこに行こうと、
いつも空で生まれた音楽が聞こえる。
それは古いものすべてから聞こえる。
新しいものすべてから聞こえる。
きれいなものすべてから、汚いものすべてから、
楽しげな歌が鳴りひびく。

それは、バラのなかにだけ、
鳥のなかにだけ、あるのではない。
虹が輝いているところにだけ、
女の人の歌が聞こえるところにだけ、あるのでもない。
もっとも暗く、価値のないもののなかでも、
いつも、いつも、何かが歌っている。

それは、天の星たちのあいだにだけ、
ふくらみ、咲きはじめた花のなかにだけ、あるのではない。
コマドリの豊かでなめらかな声にだけ、
雨のなかほほえむ虹にだけ、あるのでもない。
泥だろうとカスだろうと、あらゆるもののなかで、
いつも、いつも、何かが歌っている。
