1942年8月にドイツのユダヤ人絶滅計画の情報を得ながら、11月まで無視（？）ししていた世界ユダヤ人会議議長でした。

彼について改めて調べていくと、「改革派ユダヤ教」にたどり着きます。

ナチスのホロコーストは、「ユダヤ教版過激ユグノーのようなもの」に利用されたという面もあったのではないか、と思えてきました。
