昨夜と今夜は熱海の豪華マンション泊。マッコーリー大学の同級生の順子のお父さんは素封家。銀行マンでブラジルにも勤務していたとか。彼女もブラジル育ち。折りしも熱海は夏祭り。派手な電飾の山車はリオのカーニバルそっくり。日中は順子の運転で箱根ドライブ。芦ノ湖で人力車にも乗りました。

Jinrikisha at lake Ashinoko

We stayed last two nights at the luxurious condominium in Atami. One of Yumi’s classmates ,Junko's rich father owns it. He was a bank man and worked in Brazil. So Junko grew up in brazil. Atami summer festival was going on then. The gaudy electric ornaments looked just like the Rio carnival entirely. During daytime we went to Hakone by Junko's car and took the jinrikisha at lake Ashinoko.
