How are you doing today?
ちょっと、バタバタと忙しくて更新が滞っちゃいましたが、4日で再開なんで、Hit-chanにしたら上出来ですね。
I haven't updated my blog for 4 days, but it's only 4 days, which's not that bad for me. Haha.
さて、まだまだ9月のお話。
Okay, this is still about a day in September.
プリスクールに行き始めてまだ間もない頃、親子で参加できる遠足（有料）があったので申し込んで行ってきました。めいにとって初めての遠足でした。
Only a couple weeks after May-chan started attending the local preschool, they had a fall field trip and May-chan and I joined it, which was May-chan's first filed trip.
この日は授業の代わりに、学校近くのバス乗り場に集合。
We gathered at a public park & ride location near the school instead of a regular class that day.
初めての黄色いスクールバス！めいも大興奮ですが、Hit-chanもテンション上がりました。
Here comes the yellow school bus!! Not only May-chan, but also I was super excited to ride on it for the first time.
クラスごとにバスに乗り込んで、初めて見るスクールバスの車内。
We got on the bus by classes and this was the very first view inside a school bus.
スクールバスから見える景色もいつもと違って見えたのかな？
I guess the view from the window looked differently for May-chan too.
折角なので、はい、チーズ！
Cheese!
初めての遠足の行先はりんご農園。
The destination of our first field trip was an apple orchard.
Hit-chan、行先がりんご農園だったので、てっきり皆でりんご狩りするとばかり思いこんでいたんですが、皆でりんごやとうもろこしに関する豆知識の説明を聞いた後。。。
I thought that we would do apple picking at the orchard for the field trip, but we actually took a short tour around the orchard and learned some trivia about apple or corn first and then...
まずは汽車に乗車。
the kids enjoyed the train ride.
基本子供だけが乗って、親は待っているだけでしたが、めいさんもちゃんと一人で乗れました。
Basically, only the kids went on the ride and the parents were waiting at the start location. May-chan could go on the ride by herself.
で、また場所を移動して。。。
We moved to a different spot in the orchard next.
今度はこちらの乗り物。
Then, here's another fun ride.
めいさん楽しんでおりました。
May-chan really loved it too.
乗り物を２つ乗った後は自由時間で、好きな場所で好きな事をして過ごしました。
After the 2 fun rides, we had some free time and spent time doing whatever we wanted to do .
こんな風に、藁？が積まれている場所があって、子供たちの格好の遊び場になってました。
There's a huge pile of wheat straw rolls? and it was a big hit for kids to play at.
めいもペンギンちゃんを連れて登ったんですが、ペンギンちゃんに藁がついて大変でした。(笑)
May-chan also tried to climb up there with her Penguin-chan, but I didn't expect that Penguin-chan would get so messy with the straws. Haha.
農園には動物もいて、こんな風に触れ合う事もできました。
They had some animals at the orchard and May-chan said hi to them.
あと、飼われているのかいないのか、フラッと子ネコちゃんが現れて、めいもお友達の女の子もメロメロ。可愛いよねぇ。
I'm not sure if they actually owned them or not, but there were a couple of tiny kitties there too. May-chan and her friend fell in love with them. So cute!
そんなこんなしている間に集合時間が近づいたので、農園の売店もチラッと覗いて折角なのでりんごでも買おうと思ったんですが、1個だけの小売りはしてなかったので何も買わずに退散。
While we're hanging out around the animals, the time to go back to the school bus was getting so close. A part of me thought that we should get a couple of apples at the store before we left, but they only sold apples in big bags, not individually, so we didn't buy anything after all.
帰りも黄色いスクールバスに乗って、最初の集合場所に戻り、お土産に農園がモチーフの塗り絵とりんご1個をもらいました。
（お土産にりんご1個もらえたので、売店で買わなくて良かった～！）
We took a ride on a yellow school bus back to the original park & ride place. Before we left there, they actually handed out an apple and coloring book to every kid.
(Yup! I'm glad that I didn't buy a big bag of apples at the store. Haha.)
と、こんな感じで、めいの初めての遠足、とっても楽しんでくれて良い思い出になりました。Hit-chanも初めてスクールバスに乗れて良い経験になりました。
Okay, this is all about May-chan's first field trip and she had a great time! I'm also happy that I could have a new experience riding a yellow school bus too!
