めいの新しいチャイルドシート (May-chan's new car seat)

皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How are you doing today?






もう10月に入るというミネソタ、木々も段々色づいてきて「秋だなぁ。。。」という気分に浸っております。
It's almost October when I'm writing this, and the trees are turning red and making me feel, "Oh, it's fall here!" and enjoy the beauty of the season.






些細な事なのでブログに書いているので別に書かなくても良いのですが、このブログ、Hit-chan自身の日記の要素が強く、今回も記録に残しておきたい事があったので書く事にしました。
Today's topic is something really tiny and maybe something that I could skip to write down here, but this blog is mainly my diaries where I can record whatever I want to recall in the future. So, I'll write this.






今年の7月、めいが1歳8ヶ月くらいになって、赤ちゃんの頃から使っていたチャイルドシートが小さくなってきて、Andyっちとどのチャイルドシートにするかを相談し始めました。
In July this year when May-chan was 20 months or so and she was growing out of her car seat, so Andy and I started talking about a new car seat for her.





ちょうどその頃めいの検診があったので、担当の小児科医の先生の意見も聞いたところ、「進行方向と反対側を向くタイプのものが一番安全なので、できるだけ長い間そのスタイルが良いと思いますよ。」と教えていただきました。
Right around that time, we had a medical check-up for May-chan and could get an advice from her pediatrician "You want to keep the seat facing toward the back as long as possible because it's the safest position for kids."






で、選んだのがこちら。
Then, here's the one that we selected.

こちらのチャイルドシート、ターゲットで購入したんですが、今値段を見たら$299になってるんですけど、私達が買った時はセールで＄199でした。（ラッキー！）
We purchased this at Target for $199 on sale in July, but the current price is $299!! So, we're so lucky!! (Yay!!)







でね、こちらのチャイルドシート、形を変える事が出来て10年ほど使えるように出来ています。（有難や～！）（画像拝借元）
This child seat is designed to be used for about 10 years. (How nice!)






赤ちゃんの頃から使っていたチャイルドシートはベース部分とチャイルドシートの部分が分かれていて、ベース部分を車のシートに取り付けて、めいが乗る部分は取り外して運べるようになっていました。
May-chan's 1st car seat was made with 2 parts, the base and the seat, and we set the base part on a regular car seat and could hand-carry the seat part where May-chan sat in.







こんな風に。（めい、小っちゃかった～。この頃は全然動かへんし楽やった～！笑）
Like this. (Aww! May-chan was so little!! It's super easy to take care of her since she didn't move so much! Haha)






で、新しいチャイルドシートはベース部分もシート部分もくっ付いています。
The new child seat is one-piece and the base and the seat are attached together.

Hit-chanの車の車高が高いのと、Hit-chanが背が低いのと、新しいチャイルドシートの高さも上がったのとで、めいを乗せる時に「よっこらしょ！！」と力が要りますが、使い始めて2ヶ月くらい、特に不具合もなく満足して使っています。
Since my car is with a high seating position, I'm short and May-chan's new child seat's taller, I need a little hustle to hold up May-chan to put in the seat, but I haven't got any problems with the new seat so far for 2 months since I started using it.





めいも新しいチャイルドシートに慣れてくれて、ドライブ中に眠ってくれる事もしばしば。
May-chan didn't have any trouble to get used to her new child seat, and now she often falls asleep in the seat during a drive.





Hit-chanがこのチャイルドシートを付けてから初めてめいを連れて行ったのはお気に入りの公園。
The first trip after I installed the new car seat for May-chan was to our favorite park.





なので、最後はその時に撮った写真を載せて終わりたいと思います！
So, I want to share some pictures at the park at last today.

We had such a nice day there!




一杯遊んだので、あんまりしないお昼寝もしてくれました。
May-chan walked around a lot at the park and needed a nap after even though she doesn't need a nap so much anymore.





という訳で、段々大きくなっていくめい、この先も些細な事だと思ってもこういう風に記録に残していけたらなぁと思います。
May-chan's growing up everyday for sure, and I want to keep recording even tiny things like this here.

終 お家でステイトフェア (State Fair at Home The Final)

皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How are you doing today?






さて、最近ずっと書いている我が家でのステイトフェアパーティーの様子ですが、今日で最終章になります。
Okay, this is the last article about our state fair at home party.






Andyっちが企画、準備に頑張ってくれた我が家でのステイトフェアパーティー＆パパとブラッド君の誕生日祝いですが、Hit-chanは体調は万全ではなかったものの、それはそれは本当に楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。
Andy came up with this great idea enjoying state fair foods at home and celebrating belated Dad&Brad's birthdays at our house, and thanks to him, I had such a wonderful time even though my condition wasn't the best at the time.






もちろん、Hit-chanだけでなく、めいもグランパ＆グランパ、アンクルブラッドがいてくれたのでハッピー！
Without a doubt, not only me but also May-chan had such a great time with Grandpa&Granpa and uncle Brad.





甘え放題だよね。(笑)
Yeah, she's an only child at the part and got all the attention. What a spoiled kid! Haha.





このステイトフェアパーティーでは、チーズカーズを皮切りに、ミニコーンドック、トウモロコシ、ポークチョップ、ミニドーナツと作ってきましたが、最後にHit-chanがリクエストしたこちらをAndyっちが作ってくれました。
Like I introduced on the last couple of articles, we started from cheese curds and then enjoyed mini corn dogs, fresh grilled corn, pork chop and mini donuts. And the last fair food was the one that I requested, and Andy made it for me.






じゃじゃーん！クレープです。
Tada! Crepes!





Hit-chanの中ではクレープはフェアフードの中でも上位に入るので、毎年食べるものの一つです。
At the fair, crepes are one of my most favorite foods and something that I eat every year.





Hit-chanの願望を叶えるべく、Andyっちが前日の間に、生地を始め、トッピングの苺ソースも生の苺から作ってくれており、当日はAndyっちが生地を焼き、ブラッド君がホイップクリームを作ってくれました。
So, to make my wish, Andy prepped the batter and fresh strawberry sauce from scratch on the day before. And on the party day, he finished making the crape skins and Brad got whipped cream ready.





もうこの時点でかなりお腹いっぱいになってはいましたが、お味は最高！
As you can easily assume, we all were pretty full at the time, but I really loved my hubby's homemade crepes!






Hit-chan以外の皆は「生地がまだ生みたい。」と言っていましたが、Hit-chanの舌には完璧な食感でとっても美味しかったです！
Everybody else was saying, "The crape skin is still raw." but my tongue told me that it was perfectly cooked and the texture was great.






で、夜になり、めいがベッドに入った後、大人グループで久しぶりにこれをしました。
After May-chan went to bed, we did this for the first time in a long time.






そう、ポーカー。
Yup, poker!






パパママもブラッド君も我が家も、1セント硬貨を大量に持っていて、こうやってポーカーをする時にチップにしてます。
All of us individually saved up so many pennies and use them as poker chips when we play cards together like this.






久しぶりにポーカーをしたんですが、いつものように面白かったです。（Hit-chanはこの家族ポーカーの時間が大好きなんです。）
We hadn't played cards like this for a long time, but it was super fun as always. (Family poker time is actually one of my favorite events.)





で、この日は皆我が家に泊まったのですが、Hit-chanは翌日、体調が悪化してほぼほぼ1日寝て過ごす羽目になってしまいました。
Everybody stayed over at our house that night, but my health condition got worse and slept in bed all day long on the next day.






Hit-chanが寝込んでいる間、めいはこんな感じでグランパ＆グランマに遊んでもらっていたようです。
While I was stuck in bed, May-chan had much fun with Grandpa&Grandma.





そんな訳で、我が家のステイトフェアパーティー、丸1日使って大成功に終わりました。
Anyways, we enjoyed the party on the whole day, and it was a big success.






Andyっち、楽しい時間を計画、準備してくれてありがとう！！
Thank you for planning on the fun and wonderful time and prepping everything by yourself too!





ちなみにAndyっち、この日ミネソタのフットボールチームバイキングスのTシャツを着ているのですが、この服を選んだ理由は、「汚れても良い服だから。」だって。(笑)
（Andyっちはバイキングスのライバルチーム、お隣の州、ウィスコンシンのパッカーズのファンです。）
BTW, Andy's in a Viking T-shirt that day, but he chose the shirt, "Because I don't mind it getting dirty." LOL
(Andy's a Packer fan.)






その反対に、バイキングスファンのブラッド君は、この日めいに「スコール！」という、バイキングスの応援コールを教えていました。
Brad's a Viking fan, so he tried to teach May-chan say, "Skol!!!" which meant "Cheers!"





Hit-chanはどっちのチームでも良いんですが、めいはダディの応援するパッカーズ、それとも地元バイキングス、どっちのチームを応援するようになるのかな？
（案外、フットボールには全く興味なしになるかもね。）
I'm a Switzerland about this matter but just curious to see if May-chan will become a Packer fan which is Daddy's team or a Viking fan which is our home team.
(Or she's not interested in football at all.)





まぁ、そんな訳で、コロナで中止になったステイトフェアの代わりに、今年はお家でステイトフェアパーティーをしてとっても楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました！
Anyways, this is all how we substituted Andy's creative idea, state fair at home party, for our favorite annual event, the real MN state fair, and it turned out to be such a fun, yummy and wonderful time!

３ お家でステイトフェア (State Fair at Home Vol.3)

皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's your day going today?






さて、毎年楽しみにしているミネソタステイトフェアがコロナの影響で中止されてしまいガッカリしていたところ、Andyっちが発起人で「お家でフェアフードを楽しもう！」パーティーをする事になりました。
I've been writing on the last couple of articles here, but Andy planned a home party, "Let's enjoy fair foods at home!" since we were so disappointed by the news that they had to cancel MN state fair this year due to COVID-19.






このパーティーのもう一つの目的が、7月生まれのブラッド君と8月生まれのパパの誕生日を遅ればせながら皆でお祝いする事でした。
Besides the theme of the party, we also wanted to celebrate Dad&Brad's belated birthdays (August&July) on the same day too.






美味しいフェアフードを食べてお腹が満たされ、お昼寝していためいが起きた頃、プレゼントタイムをする事にしました。
After we enjoyed the decent homemade fair foods and when May-chan woke up from a nap, we started a present time.






まずはいつものようにカードから。
From a card as usual.





めいもブラッド君がプレゼントを開けるのを一番近くで見守っておりました。(笑)
May-chan watching Brad open his presents at the best spot. Haha.






一つ目のプレゼントの箱には。。。
In the first box...,





スパイスミックスと、
there were spice mix and...





ガーリックソース。ブラッド君、ニンニクLoveだからね。
Garlic sauce because Brad's a garlic lover!





2つ目の箱には。。。
In the second one...,





DIY道具。でもね、ブラッド君、もうこれ持ってた。（爆）
handy tools. Though, Brad already had them. LOL




Andyっち、クリスマスにパパママからもらったこの道具が気に入って、「これ、めっちゃ良いからブラッドにもプレゼントしよう！」と思ったらしいのですが、ブラッド君もAndyっちと全く同じ時にパパママからクリスマスにもらってました。(笑)
（我が家のクリスマスはプレゼントの数が半端ないから、Andyっちすっかり忘れていた模様。）
Andy picked the tools for Brad since he got them from Dad&Mom last Christmas and really loved them. Though, Brad actually got exact the same ones from Dad&Mom at the same time last Christmas too!
(Yeah, we exchange millions of presents on Christmas every year, so the fact that both Andy and Brad got the same present from Dad&Mom completely slipped Andy's mind. Haha.)




そんな、「あちゃ～！」な失敗もありつつ、次はパパのプレゼントの番。
After the "Oops!" moment, it's Dad's turn next.






もちろん、今度はめい、パパにロックオン。
Of course, May-chan didn't want to miss the best moment to rip the wrapping papers!






1つ目のプレゼントは。。。
The first one was...





これまたDIYの道具。現在新居建築中なパパにはピッタリ。
Yup, it's a tool box. Dad really needs it because he's been working on the new cabin.





パパよりめいが喜んでた感じもしますが。(笑) もちろん、パパも喜んでくれてたよ。
May-chan seemed more excited to see the present, but Dad like it too for sure. Haha.






2つ目のプレゼントは大きくて重たいもの。
The second present was something very heavy and big.





しっかり梱包されていたのでカッターナイフを使って開封。
It was very well wrapped, so he used a knife to open it.






中身はこれ。

パパママの新居にも暖炉があるので、そこで使ってもらおうと思ってAndyっちが選んでくれたプレゼントです。
Dad&Mom's new cabin has a fireplace too, so Andy picked the set for Dad's present this time.

今年の母の日 (Mother's Day 2020) - Hit-Chanのワクワクしてるよ！(Hit-Chan's WakuWaku Life!)

 

実はこれ、Hit-chanも今年の母の日のプレゼントでもらいました。
Andy actually gave me the same thing for Mother's day gift this year.





こんな感じで、コロナの影響やパパママの新居建設のスケジュールなどで大幅に遅れた誕生日祝いでしたが、こうやって今年も皆で一緒にお祝いする事ができて良かったです。
Like this, it was very belated birthday presents because of the pandemic or the construction schedule of Dad&Mom's new cabin, but it was still blessing that we could gather and celebrate them together as usual this year.





さて、このステイトフェアパーティー、次の記事でおしまいです。
Okay, the next article will be the last about this state fair party.

２ お家でステイトフェア (State Fair at Home Vol.2)

皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's your life treating you today?





さて、今日も我が家でのステイトフェアパーティーの続きをシェアしていきたいと思います。
Okay today, I want to share the fun state fair party that we had with you here again.





Andyっちが企画、準備してくれたこの、「お家でステイトフェアフードを楽しもう！」というパーティーですが、発起人のAndyっちはとっても楽しみにしておりました。
Andy planned and prepped everything for this party, "Let's enjoy state fair food at home!" and without a doubt, he's the one who looked forward to it most.





ちょうどビンゴでHit-chanが副鼻腔炎になって寝込んでしまったので、協力して準備する予定だったのが、Andyっち一人でやらなければいけなくなって申し訳なかったのですが、無事、Hit-chanも参加＆お手伝いできるくらいまで回復しました。
I was going to assist Andy to get things ready for the party, but Andy ended up doing everything on his own since I couldn't do much but sleeping in bed for the entire week because I got sinus infection and felt sick so bad. Though, I luckily got better enough to help Andy on the party day.






あとですね、前回の記事で書くのを忘れてたんですが、このパーティーの朝、Andyっちがわざわざめいを連れて動物と触れ合える公園に連れていってくれました。
I totally forgot to write this on the first article, but Andy took May-chan to a park where they could see some animals in the morning.






というのも、我が家は毎年フェアへは食べ物の屋台などはまだ開いていない早朝に繰り出して行き、まずは動物達のいる建物に行って楽しみながら屋台が開くのを待つというのが恒例なんです。
We usually leave home early in the morning on the day when we go to the MN fair every year, but it's still too early to enjoy fair foods when we get there, so we always start from walking around the barns first and wait for fair stands to open.






なので、Andyっち、それと近い雰囲気をめいに味わってもらいたいとの事でわざわざその日の朝に動物達と触れ合える場所まで連れて行ってくれたのです。（感謝＆尊敬）
So, Andy wanted May-chan to feel the similar atmosphere on the party day and took her to a place where she could see some animals in the morning. (Thanks and respect!)






ステイトフェアフード人気上位に入るチーズカーズから始まったパーティー。
We started the party from one of the most popular fair foods, cheese curds.





とっても美味しくできたので、皆ペロッと作った分を平らげてくれました。
They actually turned out to be awesome and everybody loved them.






次に作ったのはミニコーンドック。日本語ではアメリカンドックだね。
The next one was mini corn dogs. In Japanese, we call them "American dogs".





ステイトフェアで食べるコーンドックは大きなサイズなのですが、この日は色んな種類をちょっとずつ楽しもうという計画だったので、ミニサイズのコーンドックを作りました。
At the fair, they sell regular size corn dogs or even bigger like foot long corn dogs, but we made mini size ones for the party since we wanted to enjoy a little of many kinds of food that day.





これもAndyっちが前日に衣の生地を作っておいてくれたので、当日は揚げ担当のHit-chanが揚げて完成。
Andy had prepped the batter on the day before, so all I needed to do on the party day was deep-frying them.






中はこんな感じ！

コーンドックはHit-chanが好きなフェアフードで今回もリクエストしたんですが、結果めちゃくちゃ美味しかったです！！
Corn dogs are one of my favorite fair foods and I voted for it for the party, and they actually turned out be super delicious!!





正直、フェアでいつも食べるコーンドックよりも美味しかったかも
To be honest with you, they were even better than ones that I've tried at the fair before.






Andyっち曰く生地の作り方はとっても簡単らしいので、また教えてもらおうっと！
Andy said that it's pretty easy and simple to make the batter, so I'll ask him the recipe later.






めいも一丁前にケチャップを付けて。。。
May-chan dipped it in some ketchup and...





ケチャップだけ舐めるというね。(笑)（最近ケチャップにハマっているようです。）
licked just ketchup. Haha. (She loves ketchup lately.)





次にブラッド君がグリルで焼いてくれたトウモロコシ！
Brad grilled the fresh corn too.




フェアで食べるとお祭り価格で1本4ドルくらいで売っている（それでもフェアでは安く感じる、）のですが、このとうもろこしは6本で2ドルという大安売りで、旬なのでとっても甘くて美味しかった～！！！
At the fair, they sell the corns for $4 each or something, which's relatively cheap compared to other fair foods, but we got 6 ears of the fresh corn just for $2 at a local grocery store. It's in the middle of corn season and they're so sweet and yummy!





あと、Andyっちがフェアで一番好きな食べ物、ポークチョップ！
We also made Andy's favorite fair food, Pork Chop on a Stick!





一応、前にフェアのポークチョップのお店で買ったスパイスを付けて食べたんですが、スパイスはチキン用だったからか、少し味が違うように感じられました。We actually had a jar of spice mix which we got from the pork chop stand at the fair and used it, but maybe because the spice mix was for chicken or not, the flavor was somehow different to me from the fair pork chop.





美味しかったですが、これはフェアのポークチョップに軍配かな。
The homemade pork chops were pretty good, but I'd say that the fair pork chops are better.






この時めいはお昼寝中。
May-chan was taking a nap at the time.





で、次に作ったのはこちら。
What we made next was this.





ミニドーナッツ！これはブラッド君からのリクエスト。
Mini donuts! This was a request from Brad.




このミニドーナツはHit-chanが担当したんですが、ネットでも人気のミニドーナツのレシピはたくさん存在し、大きく分けてオーブンで焼いて作る物と油で揚げるものがありました。
I actually made the donuts and did some research about the recipes online beforehand. I found tons of mini donuts recipes and there were 2 styles, oven-baked ones and deep-fried ones.






色々リサーチした結果、フェアで作られているミニドーナツの生地はとっても柔らかくて、専用の機械でその柔らかい生地を上手に油に落とし入れて作られているのが分かりました。
According to my research, the famous mini donuts at MN state fair are deep-fried. I watched a video to show how they make them on YouTube and found out that they directly drop very soft dough (even like batter) into hot oil with their custom made machine.





ですが、家にはドーナツ作りの道具が揃っていないので、結局、油で揚げるケーキドーナツのレシピにシナモンシュガーをまぶすという方法を試してみました。
Though I found out how they make the delicious donuts, I didn't have certain tools to deep-fry to make donuts, so I ended up trying a recipe for deep-fried cake donuts with cinnamon sugar.






結果、味は悪くなかったのですが、狙っていたフェアのミニドーナツのような柔らかさを再現する事ができず、失敗でした。
As the result, the flavor wasn't that bad, but the texture was not what I was looking for at all, too much dried, and I would say that it failed.






フェアのミニドーナツを再現するにはもっと柔らかい生地を油に落とし入れる方法じゃないとダメだと思うのですが、それだと専用の道具がないとリング型を作るのが難しいかったのです。（リング型にならなくても気にならなければできると思います。）
To make the fair mini donuts, you need a certain tool to drop the very soft dough directly into hot oil, so without the tool, it'd be probably difficult make ring shaped mini donuts at home. (Yeah, if you don't care about the shape so much, I think it's possible.)





Hit-chan、何だか知らないけど、「ミニドーナツと言えば穴が開いてるよね。」と、リング型は譲れなかったんですよねぇ。
Me personally, I don't know why, but I did want the donuts with a hole and couldn't compromise the shape this time.






まぁこんな感じで、大成功もあり、ちょっと失敗もありと色々な結果になりましたが、それも含めて楽しい経験でした。
Anyways, most of our fair foods went really well and one went okay so far, but including the failed experience, we were having a great time.






この日のパーティーですが、これで終わらずまだまだ続きます。
The party was not over yet, so I'll keep writing about it.

さて、このブログに毎年書いているのでご存知の方もいると思いますが、AndyっちもHit-chanも毎年ミネソタステイトフェアに行くのを楽しみにしています。
If you've been reading my blog, you might know this already. Andy and I love going to MN state fair every year.

State Fair 2019 2nd Day vol.1 - Hit-Chanのワクワクしてるよ！(Hit-Chan's WakuWaku Life!)

 

昨年の様子。
This is about state fair last year.





でもでも、コロナの影響で今年のステイトフェアが中止になってしまいました。
Though, they had to cancel it due to COVID-19 unfortunately.






もちろん、我が家だけでなくそれはそれはたくさんの人がガッカリしたと思います。
It's obvious that it's not only us who got disappointed by the sad news.






ちょっと調べてみたんですが、1859年にステイトフェアが開始された後、中止になったのは6回あるらしいです。
I did some research about MN state fair and found out that in the history, they canceled the fair 6 times since the first year, 1859.






1861年と1862年に南北戦争とダコタ戦争というアメリカとネイティブアメリカンとの戦いの影響で中止。
（こんな時代からあるって事にまず驚いたよね。）
In 1861, they canceled due to civil war. In 1862, they also had to cancel it due to Dakota war.
(What's surprising to me was that they began the fair such a long time ago.)




1893年にこの年シカゴで行われた他の催し物との日程調整が上手くいかずに中止。
In 1893, they canceled the fair due to scheduling conflicts the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.






1945年に第二次世界大戦で、翌年1946年にはポリオのパンデミックで中止。
In 1945, due to WW2 and in 1946, they canceled it due to Polio pandemic.






そして2020年の今年、コロナのパンデミックで中止。

Then, this year, due to COVID-19 pandemic.
（I referred to this website.）





161年間かな？の歴史で6回しかない内の1回を経験しているというのは、ある意味貴重な体験ですね。
In the history of 161 years?, it was only 6 times that the cancellations happened, and we're going through one of them now. If I see it in that way, this experience feels very rare.






さて、そんなステイトフェアがない今年、Andyっちの提案で、「家でフェアの屋台飯を作って、皆でフェアの雰囲気を楽しもう！」という事になり、同時にずっとお祝いできていなかったパパ（8月生まれ）とブラッド君（7月生まれ）の誕生日もお祝いする事にしました。
After we heard the disappointing news about the state fair, Andy came up with this great idea. "Let's make some fair foods at home and enjoy the fair atmosphere!" Besides the concept, we also wanted to celebrate Dad&Brad's belated birthdays together on the same day. (Dad's BD was August and Brad's was July.)






もちろん、皆で楽しむといってもコロナで中止になっている訳で、招いたのはパパママとブラッド君のみ。
Of course, we wanted to keep aware of the social distance rule, we invited Dad&Mom and Brad only.






事前に皆に何を食べたいかをリサーチして、パーティー前日にスーパーの自宅配送サービスを利用して材料を購入して準備を着々と進めていきました。
We did an easy survey to ask everyone which fair food they would want to eat and then placed an online order all the ingredients from a grocery so that we could prep most of the things on the day before the party.






が、この週、Hit-chanが体調を崩していた週だったんですよねぇ。（汗）
However, I started getting sick in the beginning of the week. (Oh no!)

久しぶりに寝込んだよ (I was sick in bed after years. ) - Hit-Chanのワクワクしてるよ！(Hit-Chan's WakuWaku Life!)

 

ちょうどこのパーティーの前日にやっとこさ抗生物質を処方してもらったという時系列で、正直、Hit-chan自身がパーティー当日楽しめるかどうかはイチかバチかその日の体調次第という感じでした。
I finally could get my antibiotics on the day before the party, and there's no guarantee if I could get better enough to enjoy the party.





なので、本当はAndyっちと2人で料理の準備もしようと思っていたのですが、前日にHit-chanが寝込んでいる間、Andyっち一人でほぼ全部準備を終えてくれていました。
I was originally going to do all the prep for the fair foods with Andy on the day before the party, but I actually ended up sleeping in bed all day long that day. So, Andy worked so hard on prepping everything on his own.






当日、幸いにもHit-chanの体調もだいぶ良くなって動けるようになりました。
On the party day, I luckily felt much better enough to get up and move around.






皆が我が家に集まったら早速フェアフードを作っていく事にしました。
When everybody gathered at our house, we started making the fair foods one by one.






最初に作ったのが、皆からのリクエストも多かったチーズカーズ。
The first fair food that we made was cheese curds which everybody requested.





前日にAndyっちが衣の生地を作っておいてくれたので、当日揚げ担当のHit-chanが仕上げました。
Andy had made the batter on the day before and I finished them by deep-frying on the party day.






ちょうど仲の良いご近所さんもパパママに用事があって来ていたので、一緒に食べました。
One of our neighbor friends came over our house to talk with Dad&Mom, so he joined us to enjoyed the freshly made cheese curds too.





めいさんも美味しそうに食べてくれました。
May-chan loved them too.





こんな感じで始まった我が家のステイトフェアパーティー。
This was the beginning of the state fair at home party.
