Hello!
How are you doing today?
Hit-chan
I'm doing well as usual.
I still want to talk about the trip to Japan also today.
On the 3rd day at Aki's house.
Again, a warm and delicious breakfast was served just by sitting and being lazy.
It's got toasted a little bit too much, but it's still delicious enough.
On this day, we had a reunion with my friends who were at the farewell party right before I left Japan 3.5 years ago.
Even some months before I left MN, I emailed everyone to make sure to work it out and asked my mom to make a reservation at a restaurant as well, so everything was ready.
I used train a lot during this trip, but it's king of overwhelming to me.
(Because, in MN, I don't have an opportunity to be with many strangers in such a small space, like a train car.)
I wanted to eat something Japanese-like, so I asked to have lunch here.
What we ate was...
Everyone got a wheat starch lunch. Yeah, the white and green ones with a stick are wheat starch. It's like Mochi.
Hit-chan
I had Oden lunch. Oden is...Oden(Wikipedia).Haha.
I could eat a lot of rice just with the delicious pickled veggies too!
We exchanged gifts and took a picture.
After the lunch, we looked for somewhere we could chat for a while.
Ueshima coffee shop.
(I didn't go to Starbucks again. Yeah, Caribou's rival. Haha.)
I ordered a cup of coffee and cake.
As we're having a nice tea and coffee time, Aki and I heard a really useful story about raising kids from everybody there. It was so fun to talk about something like "How did you name your kids?"
Seriously, they made me feel that I can be a mom anytime because I can get a great advice from them anytime.
At this reunion meeting, there were 4 moms, but they raised 13 kids for total.
(My mom actually raised 5 of those. Haha)
Even after a long time, 3 and a half years, I'm so glad that everyone looked doing well as before.
After the wonderful time, we walked to a train station. On the way to the station, I walked by Kamo-river which was as beautiful as 3 and a half years ago.
So, I was so happy that I could have a wonderful time with my favorite people again.
