お引越し? (Moving vol.1)

皆さんいかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How are you doing today?





Hit-chanはですねぇ、まぁ、元気に過ごしております。
I'm doing okay as usual.




で、先日の事ですが、Andyっちのパパママ、弟ブラッド君が手伝いに来てくれて、家にある大きな家具等を貸し倉庫に運ぶ作業を行いました。
So, the other day, Andy's parents, Ray&Mary, and his brother, Brad, came over to our house to help us moving big furniture from our house to the storage locker.






パパママの車の後ろにトレーラーをくっつけて、その上にバンバン荷物を載せていきます。
We attached a trailer with Mary&Ray's car and put everything on it.






こういう時、Hit-chanには到底運べないソファとか、てきぱき移動させてくれる男の人は本当に頼りになります。
Like this situation, since I can't carry a big couch or something at all, I really appreciate and count on the men who can hold heavy things up and carry them so quick.






あと、本当に引越しが夏で良かった～～。これが極寒で凍った雪で足場の悪い冬やったら。。。（ぞ～っ。）
And, I'm soooooo happy that our moving happens in summer. What if it's in winter and on the frozen and slippery ground...?





Hit-chanの家族とAndyっちの家族ってやっぱり大分違ってて、もちろん、どちらも大好きな家族なんですが、こうやって家族が一致団結して大きな事をするのは、Andyっちの家族ならではだなぁと思います。
My family in Japan and Andy's family are quite different and of course I love both, but it's really like Andy's family that everybody gets gathered and helps each other for a big project.






特に近くに住んでる弟ブラッド君には色々とお世話になっていて、いつも快くお手伝いに来てくれる彼にはめちゃくちゃ感謝してます。
Especially, Andy's brother, Brad, is living just 5mins away from our house and he's always supported us in many ways. We really appreciate him.





で、この日の作業を終えて、皆で近くのピザ屋ご飯を食べに行きました。
So, after we finished moving almost of all big stuff, we went to a pizza place near our house.






このピザ屋さん、最近改装されて、隣にあったバーと統合されて、雰囲気もメニューも良くなってました。
This place was recently renovated and united with a bar next door, and I like the new layout and menu better now.






チーズがトッピングされたガーリックブレッド。
We ordered garlic bread with cheese on top.





チーズピザのうす～いやつ。
I don't know the name, but cheese on very thin bread.





Andyっちとパパはいつものように、ペパロニとソーセージのピザ。
（めっちゃ久しぶりにレストランで写真撮ったので、パパが写真を撮る前に1スライス掴んじゃったんやけど、Hit-chanが写真を撮ってるのに気づいて慌てて戻した瞬間。笑）
Andy and Ray ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza as usual.
(It's been a while since I took pics in a restaurant for my blog last, so Ray forgot about it and grabbed 1slice before I took a picture. This is the shot of the moment that Ray realized that I was talking a picture and tried to put the slice back on the plate so that it looked as it was. Hehe,)




ブラッド君とママはチーズピザに玉ねぎをトッピング。
Brad and Mary ordered a large cheese and half onion pizza.





で、Hit-chanはアピタイザーにチーズガーリックブレッドとチーズピザみたいなんを食べた後に、またピザを食べるのは重かったので。。。
Me? It seemed too heavy to eat a pizza after I had the cheese garlic bread and thin cheese bread, so...






新メニューのバッファローチキンラップ。
I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap.




で、家族の協力で、大きな荷物の移動をほぼ終えまして、今日、今から1週間ほどバケ～ションに行ってまいります！
With our family support, we could get almost of all the heavy things done, and we're heading up north for vacation about a week from today!!!





毎年の恒例の家族バケーションですね。
It's annual family vacation as you know.





Hit-chanはカリブーで働き始めてから初のバケ～ションです。
This is the first vacation since I started working at Caribou.






過去2年はプー太郎だったので、バケ～ションといっても、普段の生活との差がそれ程なかったんですが、今年は違います！
I wasn't working at all and the vacation time was pretty same as daily life to me last 2years, but this time is quite different!!!





Hit-chan、何と、有給をいただいてもバケ～ションです！
Guess what! I'm actually taking paid time off this time!!!!





これで名実共にバケ～ションですよ。
Now, this is REAL vacation!





まぁ、そんな訳で、行ってきまーす！！！
Okay, anyways, I'm leaving!!!!

皆さん、お元気でしょうか？
How are you doing today?





Hit-chanはですねぇ、今日は朝カリブーで働いて、昼帰って来てからは我が家の凸凹庭の芝刈りをしました。
Me? I worked at Caribou this morning and after I came back home, I mowed the lawn in our super uneven yard.





Brad君がお手伝いに来てくれて、Andyっちと家の窓枠や壁のペンキを塗りなおしてくれています。
Today, Brad came over to our house to help Andy painting the windows frames and walls outside.





「家を売るのに何故？」って思うかもしれませんが、買い主さんが申請しているローンはFHAローンといって、政府の保証がついてるローンなので一定の基準があるんです。（Hit-chan達も新居の為にFHAローンを申し込みました。）
"Why do you guys have to do the stuff even though you're selling the house?" Yeah, but the buyer applied for FHA loan which's supported by the government and requires the house some certain things.





その一つにペンキが剥がれていない事というのもあるので、塗りなおしているという事なんですね。
One of those requirements is not having peeled painting, and that's why we are dealing with it now.






で、全然引越しと関係ない話ですが、何週間か前にニュースで取り上げられていたこの動画に、Hit-chan、いたく感動したので、ここでご紹介したいと思います。
So, it doesn't have anything with our moving, but I just found a very wonderful movie on news some weeks ago and I was so touched, so I want to share it with you here too.






これ、あるカップルのプロポーズの場面なんですが、何かねぇ、プロポーズされる女性がいかにこの男性に愛されているか、そして、このカップルがいかにたくさんの家族や友達に愛されているかが凝縮されているビデオなんですよ。
This movie is about a proposal scene and how can I say..., you could see how much the man loves the lady and how much the family and friends love the couple in it.

老若男女問わず、たくさんの人がこのカップルの為に一生懸命いっぱい練習して、この時を迎えたんだろうなぁと思うと涙がウルウル出てきますよ。
It's easy for me to imagine that many people, regardless of the age and sex, had much time to practice all the dancing and had the moment just for this couple. It's hard not getting weepy.





それに、ビデオに写ってる皆の嬉しそうな顔。こっちまで嬉しくなります。
Besides that, look at the every one's happy smile! That makes me smile too!





やっぱり愛に溢れたものって、たくさんの人を幸せな気持ちにできるんだなぁ。
After all, something with love can make many people happy, doesn't it?






Hit-chanもこういう風に素直に自分の愛情を好きな人に表現していきたいなぁって思いました。
I just want to honestly describe my love to my loves like this.






やっぱり、生きてるって楽しいな。
After all, it's fun for me to be alive.





という訳で、引越しで忙しい毎日ですが、来週末からはバケーションなので、一気に駆け抜けていきたいと思います！
So, anyways, I've been super busy for moving stuff, but I'm going on vacation from next Saturday, so I'm going to dash until then!!

2つのおめでとう!(A Happy day for 2things!)

Hello!





今日のミネソタは快晴でTシャツ一枚で十分な気候です。
It's so nice out here in MN and just in a T-shirt is warm enough to go outside.




で、今日6月30日は2つお祝い事があります。
Today, June 30th is a happy day for 2things.





１つはHit-chanの親友の一人、ふじさんのお誕生日でございます。
One is one of my best friends, Fuji-san's birthday.





ただ、ぼけ～っとしていて、時差の事を考えてなかったので、日本でのお誕生日はもう過ぎちゃってるんですけどねぇ。
I got lazy and didn't think about the time difference, so it's one day late in Japan though.




ふじさん、お誕生日おめでとう！
Happy Birthday, Fuji-san!





そして、もう１つのお祝い事というのは、Hit-chanがミネソタに来て、ちょうど2年経った、渡米記念日なんです。
And the other one is the 2nd anniversary for my moving from Japan to MN.






2年前の6月30日にこっちに来て、ちょうど2年。
I moved here on the June 30th 2years ago, so it's exactly just 2years.






振り返ってみればあっという間でした。
When I look back, I feel that time passed so quick so far.






今現在、新居への引越し真っ只中なんで余計に日々早く過ぎ去っている気がしますけど。（笑）
At this moment, I'm working on my moving to the new house, so time flies quicker than usual as well.






まだまだアメリカでの生活は慣れない事も多いですが、これからも今まで通り、自分のペースで一つずつできる事を増やしていきたいと思ってます。
Still, I have a lot of things that I don't know yet, but I want to learn those one by one at my pace as so far.






改めて、いつも支えてくださっている皆さん、本当にありがとうございます。どうぞこれからもよろしくお願いします。
Thank you all for always supporting me so much.
