ひとり帰国日記はちょっと休憩して、今日も我が家の日常をちょっとお届けしたいと思います。
Let me put my Japan trip diary aside once and talk about our daily life today.
ミネソタ時間で今日は母の日。全世界のお母さん、いつもありがとうございます。
In MN time, today is mother's day. All the moms in the world, thank you for your hardwork!
Hit-chanも今回で6回目の母の日を迎えておりますが、昨日はめいの日本語補習校の運動会だった為、今日は軽い筋肉痛を感じながら朝を迎えました。(笑) 
I'm having my 6th mother's day as a mother today. We actually had a blast on sprorts day at May-chan's Japanese school yesterday and I did a lot of excercise there too, so I woke up this moring to some sore pain in my body mustle. Haha.
そんな母の日の朝、起きるとAndyっちはどこかへ外出中。
When I woke up this morning, Andy had been gone somewhere.
しばらくして帰ってきたAndyっちの手には花束。
In a while, he's back with a bunch of flowers in his hands.
いやぁ、本当にこういうイベント事にはマメでロマンティストな旦那さんです。（感謝）
Wow, I'm such a lucky wife to have such a romantic and dedicated husband. (Thanks!)
花束と一緒にドーナツとコーヒーも。
He also brought back a cup of coffee and donuts for me too.
その後、めいが起きて来た時には、
When May-chan got up,
「めい、今日は母の日だから、いつも以上にママに優しくしないとダメやで。」
"May, today is Mother's day, so you have to be extra nice to Mommy, okay? "
と、しっかり言い聞かせてくれていました。(笑)
Andy gave her the adivice. LOL
まだまだ、これを書いているのは朝の9時なので、これから母の日の本番が始まるので、ちょっとワクワクしています。
It's still at 9am when I'm writing this, so I'm so excited to see what's going to happen for the rest of this special day.
さて、今日お話ししたかったのは、このブログで何回かお話していた、Andyっちとめいが植えたチューリップの近況。
So, the topic that I wanted to talk about today was May-chan and Daddy's tulips which I mentioned here a couple of times before.
蕾が出て来た頃の写真があります。
I put a picture of them getting buds on this article.
その後、8個の蕾が出来たんですが、その内鹿さんに5個食べられてしまうというサプライズ。(笑)
Then, 5 of 8 buds were eaten by deer. Haha
鹿さんのサプライズ後は、AndyっちとHit-chanが夕方になると蕾にバケツを反対に被せるという方法で、何とか蕾を鹿さんの食欲から守っておりました。
After the deer atack, Andy or I put a bucket upside down on the tulips to protect them from deer around the sunset for some days.
そして、そして、ついに。。。
And finally...,
咲いた♪ 咲いた♪ チューリップの花が ♪
Daddy and May-chan's tulips bloomed!!
5月1日の時点でこんなに綺麗な花を咲かせてくれて、めいも大喜び！！
As of May 1st, they were so pretty and May-chan was super excited!!
赤と。。。
One red...,
黄色と。。。
One yellow and...
ミックスも。
One combo!
と、こんな感じで、ダディとめいが初めて植えたチューリップ、とっても綺麗に咲いてくれました。
So, this is how Daddy&May-chan's first tulips bloomed very beautifully.
