Hit-chanは元気です。
My day's full of smiles!
Andyっちは今月2回も出張があったのですが、昨日無事2回目の出張を終えて我が家に帰ってきてくれました。
So, Andy had 2 business trips this month, but he's just safely back home from Texas last night.
一応、Hit-chan、空港までお迎えに行って、空港からはAndyっちが運転していたんですが、途中、高速道路でお巡りさんにとめられてしまいました。
I actually went to pick him up at the airport and he drove my car back home, but on the way, we got pulled over by a police officer on highway.
「スピード出し過ぎてたかなぁ？」と心配になったんですが、Hit-chanの愛車銀ちゃんのヘッドライトが一つ切れてたみたいでした。
We got worried, "Were we speeding??" a little bit, but it's just because one of the headlights was out.
親切なお巡りさんで丁寧に対応してくれ、「すぐに直してくださいね～。」と教えてもらって終わりました。
He was very kind and nicely told us, "Please fix it soon!" and let us go.
なので、今朝。。。
So, this morning...
早速マツダのディーラーまで来ました。コナンを観て時間を潰しています。（笑）
I'm here at the Mazda dealer watching anime to kill time. Haha.
片方が切れたという事は、もう一つも直に切れるだろうという事で、両方新しいライトに変えてもらう事にしました。
One headlight being out means that the other one would be out sometime soon, so I asked them to replace both.
両方で$124。高い！！（汗）
Replacement both light bulbs is $124. So expensive!
ライトを変えるだけなので予約しないで良いとの事で来たのですが、2時間かかるらしいです。なので、現在待機中です。
Andy called in this morning and they said we didn't need an appointment, but it'll take about 2 hours. So, I'm waiting now.
さて、話題は変わり、先日またまた日本人のお友達、新米ミネソタンさんとランチデートに行ってきました。
Okay, I'll change the topic and want to talk about another lunch date with my Japanese friend the other day.
今回行ってきたのは。。。
The place we went to this time was...

COV in Wayzata
Hit-chanが6年ほど働いていたWayzataというオシャレ街にあります。
Yeah, Wayzata is a fancy town where I used to work for 6 years.
4年前まではSunsetsというレストランだったんですが、オーナーが変わって、COVというレストランになりました。
Until 4 years ago, the building was a restaurant called Sunsets, but the owner was changed and the name is now COV.
ちなみに、AndyっちもHit-chanも、Sunsets好きだったので、Sunsetsが閉まる最後の日にも食べに行きました。その時の様子はこちら。
Andy and I really liked Sunsets, so we also had a dinner on their last day. Here's the article of the day.
COVになって、今回2回目。
This time was my 2nd day after it became COV.

The interior design is so different now.
Hit-chan、最近お腹が大きくなって、一度にたくさんの物を食べられなくなってきました。
Well, my belly has been bigger lately and I can't eat a lot at once.
食べられると言っちゃあ、食べられるんですが、食べてしまうと後が満腹を通り過ぎてしんどくなるんですよねぇ。
I'm still capable of eating a lot at once, but if I do it now, I'd feel too full afterwards.
なので、色々迷って選んだのは。。。
So, I took extra time to decide what I wanted to eat that day and ended up having...
クラムチャウダーと。。。
this clam chowder and...
ミニシーザーサラダ。
a side Caesar salad.
新米ミネソタンさんは、Hit-chanも目をつけていたフィッシュタコス。美味しそう！しかもでかい。
My friend had this fish tacos which I also wanted to try. They looked so good and huge!
今回も特にこれを話したっ！という記憶は無いんですが、Hit-chanが話す何気ない事をたくさん聞いてもらいました。
I don't remember specifically what I talked about with her, but as usual, she listened to my random stories.
この日のサーバーさんが親切にも、2ショットを撮ってくれました。
The server guy was kind and offered to take a picture of us.
マイカメラを渡すと、「お～、本物のカメラだ。」と笑ってました。最近は皆スマホだもんね。
When I handed my camera to him, he said, "Oh, it's a real camera!" Haha, yeah, people use their phone to take pics nowadays.
そうそう、今回も赤ちゃんの絵本とかおもちゃとかいただいちゃいました。（笑）
Oh, yeah, she gave me a couple of baby's book and toy this time again!
という訳で、出産前最後になる新米ミネソタンさんとのデート、とっても楽しかったです！！
Anyways, I had another fun lunch date with my friend that day. I think we'll hang out with my baby next time!!
