皆さま、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How are you doing today?
今更なんですが、SMAP解散するというニュースに驚きましたよ。
It's kind of old news already, but I was so surprised that SMAP broke up after 25years!! (SMAP is the most poplar boys group in Japan. Maybe they're like Backstreet Boys, but they all act, sing, dance and individually host TV shows.)
特段熱烈なファンという訳では無かったんですが、小さな頃から活躍していて、いつでもTVに映っているのが当たり前だったので、そんなビッググループが無くなるのが信じられません。
I wasn't a huge fan of them or something, but they've been always on TV since I was little and it was just a part of my life. So, I still can't believe they're not together anymore.
そんな日本のビッグニュースも、こちらミネソタでは共有する相手がいないので、思わずブログに書いちゃいました。
Such a big news from Japan isn't something I can share with anybody here, so I couldn't stop mentioning about it here.
さて、今日はHit-chanの大切なお友達と楽しい時間を過ごした様子を書いて行きます。
Anyways, I want to write about my precious time with my precious friends today.
この日は働いているカリブーのすぐ近くのレストランで。
We had a couple of drinks at a restaurant near our Caribou.
同僚のステイシーとブレンダ、そしてブレンダの可愛い娘ちゃん、エリーちゃんと。
Stacy, Brenda and Brenda's pretty daughter, Ellie.
Hit-chan、久しぶりにお酒を頼んだんですが、やっぱり全部飲めませんでした。
I ordered a cocktail that day, but I couldn't finish it.
二種類のタコスを注文して、ステイシーとシェア。
Stacy and I ordered pork and fish tacos and shared them together.
安いのに美味しかった～！
They're so reasonable during the happy time, but very delicious!!!
最近の職場では大変な事が多く、会話も少し愚痴が多くなってしまいましたが、こうしてワイワイと色んな事を話し合える友達がいるのは本当に有り難いです。
Lately, we're having a tough time at work and couldn't stop vending it out with each other, but still I feel so lucky to have good friends to share anything with like this.
ステイシーはティーンの男の子二人のママなんですが、運転免許を取ったり、バイトを始めたりと、たくましくなっていく彼らの様子を聞くのも楽しいです。
Stacy is actually a mom of 2 teenage boys and it's so fun to listen to things about her boys getting a driver's license and a part time job, etc... It's so impressive and amazing to see the process of a boy becoming a man.
反抗期もあるだろうに、ステイシー、本当に息子君たちと素敵な関係を築いていて、Hit-chanにも男の子ができたら、そんな風になりたいなぁと思ってます。
I assume that most of kids don't want to do things with their parents around that age, but Stacy and her boys have a great relationship and that's my ideal role model when I have kids.
実はブレンダ、カリブーの他に不動産のお仕事をやっているんですが、そっちの方が忙しくなってきて、カリブーのお仕事はしばらくお休みすることになったんです。
If fact, Brenda is going to take a long leave from Caribou since her relator job's getting busier and things have got harder for her to make enough family time.
大きな戦力が無くなるのと、職場でブレンダと会える機会が減るのは辛いですが、今までもシフトが重なる事がほとんどなく遊びに行く機会がなかなか無かったので、これからはもっと遊びに行けそうです。
It's a big loss and sad not to see her at work, but we haven't seen each other at work so often because we had different shifts most of the time. So, I'm so happy that we can have more time to hang out together from now.
さて、この日の他にもう一日、またまた遊びに行きました。

ステイシーはスープと。。。
Stacy had a soup and
サラダ。ヘルシー。
salad. Healthy!
キャットとHit-chanはマカロニ＆チーズ。キャットはチキン、Hit-chanはエビをトッピング。チキンの方が旨かった。残念！
Kat and I ordered Mac&Cheese. Kat chose chicken and I got shrimp, but chicken was better.
この三人で、毎年クリスマスにはプレゼント交換をしているんですが、ステイシーがキャットへのプレゼントを今まで渡す機会がなくて、この日ようやく渡していました。(笑)
3 of us actually exchange Christmas presents every year, but Stacy hadn't got a chance to give her present to Kat, so we finally made it that day. lol
防水加工の可愛い鞄の中にモミの木の香りの石鹸が入っていて、皆でそれを嗅いで「クリスマスの匂い～！！！！」と盛り上がりました。
In the cute waterproof bag, there's a soap smelling like Christmas tree, so we're so excited to smell it and said "Aww..., smells like Christmas!!!"
この日、実はキャットからビッグニュースがあって、ステイシーもHit-chanも喜びました。
On that day, we actually heard a big news from Kat and that made both of Stacy and me so excited too.
そのビッグニュースは後程報告しますが、こうやって色んな事をシェアできるの相手がいるのが本当に幸せです。
I will talk about the bigs news later, but I'm so blessed to have such wonderful friends to share everything about my life with.
はっきり言って、Hit-chanは皆に助けてもらってばっかりなんですが、この大切なお友達が必要としてる時には必ず力になりたいと思っています。
The truth is that I'm always the one who ask them for a help, but I want to be more independent and stronger so that I can be a big help when they need it.
そんな訳で、楽しい時間でした！！
