特に疑り深い性格ではないけれど、聖書の教えでも、新聞の論説でも、教師の訓示でも、もっともらしい話を鵜呑みにはしません。他人とは一定の距離を保ちました。素直で従順な級友たちが皆考えることを放棄した子供に見えました。1960年（15歳）も1972年（27歳）もネズミ年でした。僕はいつも痛苦の念であの12年間を振り返ります。久々に自宅で元旦を迎えました。紅白歌合戦？ＴＶはほとんど見ないので紅白も大河ドラマも知りません。誰がオスカーやノーベル賞をもらったかも興味はありません。受身の人生は厭だから、今年も思い通りの毎日を送りたいものです。状況を切り開く力量が衰退しないことを念願しつつ。

I am not a so suspicious person but I never swallow the words from the Bible, the articles from newspaper, some teacher’s instructions, or other plausible topics. I always kept a distance from other people. My honest and obedient classmates looked like children who have abandoned thinking. 1960(at the age of 15) and 1972(at age of 27) were both rat zodiac years. Always I regrettably remember those 12 years. After a long time I spent the New Year’s Day at home. The Red and White Song Contest? I rarely watch TV so I don’t know what the Red and White or Big River Drama is like. I am not interested in who got Oscar or Novel prize as well. As I dislike having a passive life I want to spend every day as I hope. I wish my capability that curves out different circumstances would not decay.
