ここはイタリア？？(Are we in Italy??)

さて、前回の記事で家族で初めてミネソタこども博物館に行った日の事を書きました。
So, I wrote about our first visit at MN children's museum on the last article.




その同じ日、子供博物館が混んできたので早々に退散した後、そのまま歩いて行ける距離にある、Andyっちがお薦めしてくれた場所に行きました。
On the same day, after we left the museum, we went to this fun place where Andy had recommended and was located within a walkable distance from the museum.

Cossettaという、イタリアの食材が売っていたり、その場でピザ屋やパスタも食べる事ができる場所です。
It's an Italian market where you can shop authentic Italian groceries and also eat amazing food there too.

恐らく、個々で売っている商品のほとんどはイタリアからの輸入品だと思います。（画像拝借元）

こんな感じで、カウンターでピザやパスタを買ってイートインコーナーで食べる事ができます。
For eating in, you can pick up food from the counters like this.




最初、このカウンターで帰るピザか何かを買って食べようと思っていたのですが、お昼時という事もあって、悩んでいる内に凄い列に！
We were originally going to pick up something from the counters, but while we're deciding, people made a long line!! Yeah, it was lunch time, so.





なので、カウンターの食べ物は諦め、空いていた食材売り場のベーカリーコーナーとお惣菜コーナーで適当に選ぶことにしました。（画像拝借元）

ベーカリーコーナーに売っていたこのフォカッチャが美味しそうだったのでゲットする事に。（画像拝借元）

これは生ハムが一杯乗ってるやつ。
This one had lots of prosciuttos on top.





こちらは全部乗せって感じの具沢山。
This one had pretty much everything.




このフォカッチャの具無し、生地のみも売っていて、それもめちゃくちゃ美味しそうなのでゲットしました。
They're also selling plain, no topping, focaccia as well which looked very yummy too, so we got a piece of them too.





あとは野菜が欲しかったので、無難にシーザーサラダ。
I was also craving for some veggies, so I got this Caesar salad.




このシーザードレッシングが美味しくて瓶入りのものも購入可能だったんですが、Andyっちが後日家で再現に挑戦してくれて、それがすごく再現度が高くて美味しかったです。
The Caesar dressing was very good and you could buy a bottle at the grocery section, but Andy actually tried to copycat the recipe at home a couple days later, which turned out awesome. Yeah, it's very nice to have a husband who loves cooking too.




でね、フォカッチャがねぇ、めちゃくちゃ美味しかったんですよ。
Still, the best hit of the lunch was the Focaccia. Just incredible.





冷めていたのに、生地がフワフワモチモチですごく軽くて、AndyっちもHit-chanも感動。（画像拝借元）

めいさんも、このフォカッチャをめちゃくちゃ気に入って、具無しプレーンをパクパク食べていました。
May-chan loved the dough as well and enjoyed the plain one.




このフォカッチャもAndyっち、家に帰って2度ほど再現に挑戦してくれたんですが、まだお店のような完成度には近づいておりません。Hit-chanも近々挑戦してみようと思ってます。
Andy also tried to copycat the Focaccia recipe a few times at home too, but he hasn't reached the level to please himself yet. I'm actually thinking to do some experiments sometime soon too.





食後のデザートには食材売り場で量り売りしていたチョコレートを一個パクリ！美味しくない訳ありません。
For the dessert, May-chan and I enjoyed a piece of chocolate which we had picked earlier from a big pile of chocolate sold by weight at the grocery section. Yeah, they couldn't be bad, you know.





今回は見られなかったのですが、スイーツ売り場も充実しており、今度行くときは必ずチェックしたいなぁと思っています。（画像拝借元）

そうそう、ここに来た一番の理由は、Andyっちがグアンチャーレという豚の頬肉のハム？みたいなのを買いたかったからで、こんな感じでハムコーナーも充実しています。（画像拝借元）
Oh, I almost forgot to tell this, but the original purpose for us to go to the store was getting Andy's favorite, Guanciale (Italian cured pork cheeks). Their processed meat section was great too, BTW. （© Cossetta Facebook）





駐車場まで大人の足だったら全く問題ないのですが、めいが少し疲れて愚図ってきたので、Andyっちが自分だけ車を取りに行って、Hit-chanとめいを建物の横で拾ってくれると提案してくれたので、お言葉に甘えてめいと一緒に外で待つことにしました。
So, it's totally walkable for adults to the parking lot where we had parked our car from the store, but May-chan was getting tired from all the excitement and stimulation at the museum earlier, so Andy kindly offered to pick up the car by himself and catch us by the building.





Andyっちを待っている間もCossettaの建物横にある駐車場（そんなに大きくない）にはどんどん車が入っていってましたし、徒歩のお客さんも入れ替わり立ち代わり入っていったので、本当に人気のあるお店なんだなぁと見ていました。
While May-chan and I were waiting for Andy outside on the street, we saw a lot of cars going in the store parking lot (which was not that big) and people coming and going from the building too. I'm glad that they're so popular.






最後にチーズ！

とこんな感じで、ミネソタ博物館よりもこのCossettaの方がメインイベントに取って変わってしまいましたが、建物の中の雰囲気は「ここ、イタリア？」って思えるくらい、とっても活気があって楽しくて、何より美味しい時間を楽しむ事ができました。
Okay, this is all about the fun Italian day. Actually, I had much more fun at the Italian place than the museum and really liked the vibrant atmosphere which made me feel, "Am I in Italy now??" No need to tell this again, but the food was phenomenal too.
