皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's your life treating you today?
この前、雨の降る日、「うーん、買い物行きたいけど、雨は嫌だなぁ。」
と思いつつも、めいと一緒にターゲット（イオンみたいなお店）に行ったんです。
The other day, it was raining and "Mmm, I kind wanna go shopping, but it's pain in butt the butt going in the rain." I was hesitating. Still, I made up my mind and went to Target with May-chan.
で、雨の日だからかレジも空いていて、Hit-chan達の前には若いお兄ちゃんが一人だけいました。
The store was not busy at all probably because of the rain and there was only 1 young guy in front of us at the casher.
そのお兄ちゃんが２、３個の商品を買うのに、持っていたギフトカード2枚を使っており、お会計が終わってからレジのおばちゃんに、「こっちのカードの残高はどれくらいですか？」と聞いていました。
He was buying a couple of small things and using 2 gift cards to pay them. After he's done his transaction, "How much is left on this card?" he asked the casher lady.
で、おばちゃんが、「こっちは$20（くらいだったと思う。）残ってるわよ。」
と教えてあげていたんですが、そのお兄ちゃん、残りの1枚のカードをおばちゃんに渡して、
The lady checked the balance and said, "$20 something (I don't remember the number specifically)." to him. Then, he handed one of the cards to the lady and said,
「じゃあ、このカードの残高はこの方たち（Hit-chanとめい）のお会計に使って。」
"Oh, okay then, you can use this one for their order. (which was May-chan and me)"
って言ったんですよ～！
I was like, "what did he just say??!!"
で、カードには$5も残っていて、「良いの？？！！」と思ったんですが、お兄ちゃん、「使って、使って。」っていうので、ご厚意をありがたく受け取ってカードを頂いたんです。
There's still $5 left on the card and I was wondering, "Should I really take it??", but the generous man casually said, "Sure!" I thankfully received his generousity and kindness.
何でしょうか、このありがたい出来事は？お兄ちゃん、天使か何かなの？ 
What on earth was this story like Christmas?? Was he an angel or something??
この天使みたいなお兄ちゃんのお陰で、雨の日にお買い物にでかけた甲斐がめちゃくちゃありました。（感謝）
Thanks to the sweet young man, I could feel that it's worth getting out of the house on a rainy day. (Big Thanks!)
さて、今日も我が家の夏バケーションの様子をお届けしたいと思います。
Okay, here's more about my family's summer vacation.
3日目の午前中は有難いことに、Andyっちと2人だけで朝食＆ミニゴルフをゆっくり楽しむことができました。
In the morning of on Day 3, thanks to Mom for watching May-chan, Andy and I could have a nice date having breakfast and playing mini golf just with 2 of us.
で、ミニゴルフが終わった頃、ちょうど昼前だったので、「パパママに電話して、どっかで落ち合って一緒にランチするか聞く～？」と話していたんですが、すぐに、「あ、あかんわ。めいのチャイルドシートが無いから来れへんわ。」と、即刻プランA却下。
After we finished mini golf, it was a little before noon, so "We can call Dad&Mom and ask if they wanna meet up with us somewhere and eat lunch together. " we came up with the idea, but "Oh, we can't cuz we're driving this car with May-chan's car seat." we gave up the plan A.
そうなんですねぇ、自分達が乗ってきた車にめいのチャイルドシート付けたままだったので、一緒にランチに行くにも一旦パパママの家に戻る必要があったので、とりあえず帰る事にしました。
Yeah, we're driving our car with May-chan's car seat, so we needed to drive back to Dad&Mom's house once to go grab lunch with them somewhere.
で、無事にめいを連れてこちらのレストランへ。（このお店も過去何回も登場しております。）
We picked up May-chan and went to this restaurant. (This restaurant has been on my blog several times too.)
お天気が良かったので、最初はこのパティオ席に座ったんですが。。。
It was a very nice day and we sat down at a table on the patio, but...
何せいくら待てどもサーバーさんが来ないし、めちゃくちゃ日向で暑くて、結局中に入る事にしました。
No server came up forever and we're getting hot in the sun. So, we grabbed a table inside.
席を変えて正解！すぐに注文を取りに来てもらえました。
We made a right decision. After we grabbed a table inside, a server came up to us right away.
が、恐らくキッチンが人手不足なのか、料理が運ばれて来るまでかなり時間がかかりました。
Althouth the server took care of our table right away, probably because the kitchen was short of staff or something, it took a lot of time to get the food ready.
Hit-chanはフィッシュアンドチップス。チップスの代わりにコールスローにしたけど、最初忘れられてて、後から持って来てもらいました。
I got this fish and chips. I orddered coleslaw instead of chips, but they forgot the coleslaw first and frought it late. That's why there's not chips or coleslaw in this pic.
最近エビフライの美味しさに目覚めためいさんはシュリンプバスケット。Hit-chanもポテト分けてもらいました。
May-chan recently got to like shrimp, so she got this shrimp basket. She generously shared her fries with me.
パパはバーガー
Dad got this burger.
Andyっちはウォールアイ（白身の魚）サンドイッチ
Andy got this walleye sandwich.
ママとブラッド君はチーズケサディーヤを頼んでおりました。
Mom and Brad got this cheese quesadilla.
写真を撮るのを忘れたんですが、Hit-chan、ロブスタービスクも頼みました。
I forgot to take a pic of this, but I also got a cup of Lobster Bisque.

過去に行った時の記事にロブスタービスクの写真があります。
On this old article, there's a picture of the lobster bisque.
料理が来るまでかなりの時間がかかって腹ペコだったんですが、フィッシュアンドチップスは半分残してお持ち帰りしました。
Again, it took forever to get the food and we all were so starving, but I got full just with the half of the fish and chips and took the rest back home.
で、ランチが終わってパパママの家に戻った後、Hit-chanは朝から活動していたので疲れて休憩。
After we returned to Dad&Mom's house after lunch, I took some break because I had been active since the morning.
Andyっちはパパの負担を減らす＆我が家のDIYを一杯手伝ってもらったお返しで庭仕事。
Andy was such a hardworker and started some yard work there in return for all the help Dad had given him in our recent big DIY project.
パパママ、ブラッド君とめいはボートで湖へ。
Dad&Mom, Brad and May-chan went boating on the lake.
めちゃくちゃ喜んでおりましたが、ここでも蚊の餌食になったらしく、何ヵ所か噛まれて戻ってまいりました。
（Hit-chanはあんまりウォーターアクティビティ好きじゃないから、こうしてめいに経験させてもらえるのは本当に有難いです。）
May-chan was super excited on the boat, but got borthered and some bites by mosquitos there.
(I'm not a huge fan of water activities, so I appreciate them for taking May-chan out on the lake like this.)
で、この日の夜、ママは自治会？のミーティングがあったので、6時半から外出。
In the evening, Mom went out for a meeting at 6:30pm.
晩御飯はAndyっちがグリルしてくれたホットドッグ。
Andy grilled hotdogs for dinner.
Hit-chanはランチの残りのフィッシュアンドチップスとサラダを作って食べました。
I made salad and ate it with the leftover fish and chips.
前日に嘔吐しためいですが、すっかり元気になってバケーションを楽しむ事ができていて何よりです。
May-chan threw up the day before, but she was just as energetic as usual, which was very nice and grateful.
