さて、今日もひとり帰国日記の続きを書いていきたいと思います。
OKay, here's another article of my trip diaries.
ミネソタに帰る日まで1週間を切った頃の2月17日。
On February 27th which was 1 week away from the day of me going back to MN.
母が孫のふうちゃんのお誕生日プレゼントとして携帯電話を買ってあげる約束をしていたので、この日兄とふうちゃんと一緒に携帯ショップに行きました。
On the day my mom was going to buy a mobile phone for Fu-chan (a granddaughter for my mom) as a birthday present, so we're going to go to a mobile phone shop together.
確か、兄が車で実家まで迎えに来てくれました。
I don't remember well, but I bet that my brother and Fu-chan came to my parents' condo.
携帯ショップの近くのスーパーに寄って、ちょっとお買い物。
Near the phone shop, we swang by this grocery&drug store.
その後、兄夫婦が契約している携帯ショップに行って申込書？などを記入。
Then, at the phone shop, my brother filled a form to get ready for the purchase.
ただ、ふうちゃんが欲しかった携帯の在庫は無かったので、オンラインで申し込んだ方が良い事、その他手続きも兄嫁ちゃんにやってもらった方が良いとの事で、結局ほとんど何もせずに退散。
Although, they didn't have the phones that Fu-chan wanted in stock at the shop and it seemed more convenient to order one online. Plus that, my brother would need some assistance from his wife who managed all the phone contracts for the family. So, we ended up leaving the shop without any fruits.
その後、兄に車で京阪宇治駅まで送ってもらい、今回の帰国で2回目の宇治散策を母と一緒に楽しむ事にしました。
After that, my brother gave us a ride to a train station in downtown Uji and my mom and I went out for a walk for the 2nd time during my stay.

京阪宇治駅からも、JR宇治駅からも、宇治橋や宇治橋商店街は徒歩圏内のでアクセス抜群です。
From Keihan Uji station or JR Uji station, you can easily access to the Uji bridge or Uji-bashi shop street by walk.
前回と同じようにまずは宇治神社。
Our first destination of the day was Uji shrine just as the last walk.
そして、今回もHit-chanが一番行きたかった宇治上神社へ。
Then, we walked up to Uji-gami shrine which was my favorite shrine.
もう一度、体外受精が上手くいくようにお祈りしました。
I made a wish for IVF success there again.
おみくじは中吉でした。
I drew a fortune telling and it was medium luck.
お参りの後は来た道を歩いて戻って。。。この日もすっごく良いお天気でした。
After the shrine visits, we walked back to the street toward the Uji-bashi shop street. Just as you can see, it was another beautiful day.
宇治橋を渡って。。。（生まれ故郷だけど、改めてみると風情が素晴らしいですねぇ。）
We walked on Uji bridge and...
(It's my hometown, but this walk reminded me how beautiful it was.)
お店が一杯並ぶ、宇治橋通り商店街の方へ。
we entered Uji-bashi shop street.
そして、宇治と言えばお茶という事で、お土産を探しに中村藤吉本店をチェック。
Speaking of Uji-city, it's famous for the tasty and sophisticated green tea. So, my mom and I checked this famous tea shop.

このお店で母がAndyっちやママへのお土産にお茶を買ってくれました。（感謝）
My mom nicely got a couple of packages of tea for Andy or his mom. (Thanks!)
この後にも伊藤久右衛門のお店にも寄って、お茶を買ってもらいました。
We also stopped by another famous tea shop, Itokyuemon, and she also got me and my family in MN some tea there as well.
ちなみに母がAndyっちに買ってくれたのは、中村藤吉本店の玄米茶。
This is one that my mom bought for Andy, Genmaicha from Nakamura Tokichi.
「一袋で良いの？」って聞いてくれて、「うん、大丈夫！！」と言っておきながら、持って帰って来てから、Hit-chanがほとんど飲んでしまいました。ごめん、Andyっち！もっと買ってもらえば良かった。(笑) 
At the shop, "Don't you want to get more?", my mom kindly asked me and "Oh, 1 bag should be enough for Andy." I answered. Though, since I was back to MN, I used most of the tea bags by myself. Sorry, hon! I should have asked her to get you more!! LOL
ママには伊藤久右衛門の煎茶。
My mom got Mom Z (Andy's mom) this one, Sencha, from Ito Kyuemon.
ママ、最初の一杯を飲んだ時に美味しさに感動したみたいで、わざわざ上の写真を送ってきて、「最初の一杯を今飲んでいるんだけど、すっごく美味しい！！お茶の色がすっごく綺麗で、春を感じさせてくれるわ。Hit-chanのお母さんに改めてありがとうって伝えておいて！！」
と感想を教えてくれました。
Mom Z (Andy's mom) sent me a text saying, "Hit-chan, please thank your mom for the green tea! This is the first one I am trying and it is really delicious!! The color is so pretty and reminds me of spring!" I'm so glad that she loved the gift from my mom.
と、こんな感じで、母と楽しんだ2回目の宇治散策もお天気に恵まれて素敵な一日になりました。
Anyways, my mom and I really enjoyed walking around downtown Uji for the 2nd time during my stay and it was such a beautiful day too.
