本日英語学校を卒業。いつものことながら僕が最年長の学生。2番目に年上の33歳の日本人女性は豪州生まれの9歳の子供と来月帰国するそうです。日本では小学校4年から塾に行くのが普通だとか。塾とは教育のブラック・マーケットです。50年前と全く変わらない時代遅れの教育。闇市場が日本の教育を支えている限りまともな人材は育成できません。受験技術ではなくボランティア、リーダーシップ、ディベート、プレゼンテーションなどグローバルな学習が必要です。

I graduated from my English conversation school. I was the oldest student as usual. The second oldest one was a 33-year-old Japanese woman. She will go back to Japan with her 9 year-old child who was born in Australia. Japanese children usually start going to the cram schools when they become the fourth grade in the primary schools. The cram school is the black market in education. It is the out-of-date education of exam-taking skill as same as what it was 50 years ago. Japan cannot yield any good human resources as long as the black market, the cram schools sustains Japanese education system. Essentially, Japanese luck of volunteer mind and leadership, and debate and presentation skills. They need more global education.
