トリニティー・ビーチの海岸通り、ヤシの木より多いのがビーチ・アーモンド。大きな葉が遊歩道に日陰を作ります。クリに似た白い糸状の地味な花。秋には遊歩道に沢山の実を落とします。美味しいのに誰も拾いません。波打ち際にはアサリに似たピピが捕れますが、潮干狩りをする人はいません。

Flower of Beach Almond

There are more beach almond trees than pine trees along the esplanade of Trinity Beach. Its big leaves make shade on the promenade. It has white thready unattractive flowers that look like chestnut flowers. Numerous seeds fall down on the promenade in fall. Despite they are tasty no one pick them up. You can also catch a lot of pipis on the surfside but no one gather them.
