ケアンズ文化の舞台は市民劇場とここタンクス。もとはと言えば、第二次世界大戦中の軍艦用オイルを貯蔵する3基のタンク。熱帯雨林でカモフラージュされています。1987年にわずかの手を加えて文化施設に変身。独自の雰囲気がある350席収容可能のタンクNo3。コンサートやサーカス、ディナーショーなど、国内外の芸術がここに集まります。

The stages of Cairns culture are Civic Theater and here, Tanks. It’s originated from the 3 oil tanks used to store oil for the warships during WW2. They are being camouflaged with the tropical rain forest. With minor improvement they have changed into the cultural facility in 1987. Tank No.3 has a unique atmosphere and it can accommodate 350 persons. The concerts, circuses, dinner shows and many more kinds of arts from both domestic and overseas forgather here.
