How's your day going today?
さて、先日3歳になった我が家のめい、相変わらずお絵描きが大好きで、最近は画材としてマーカーがお気に入りのようで、色とりどりのマーカーを目にすると制作意欲を掻き立てられるようです。
So, our daughter, May-chan, just turned 3 years old the other day, and she's still had a lot of passion in art. She recently likes washable markers for her drawing tools and the colorful markers inspire her every time she sees them in her sight.
なので、今日は久しぶりに最近のめい画伯の作品をご紹介していきたいと思います。
Today I want to introduce you guys some of the artist, May-chan's recent works here.
まず、作品と言って良いのか分かりませんが、最近になって色を塗るという事を好んでするようになりました。
First off, I'm not sure if I'd call it an artwork, but she's been very good at coloring in general.
こんな感じで。親ばかですが、ちゃんと枠の中に綺麗に塗れているなぁと感心しております。
Like this. I was impressed that she draw the circles and colored the inside of them pretty well.
で、こちらが制作風景。床にマーカーを散らばらせて思うがままに線を描いていきます。(笑)
This is how she usually works on her art projects. She freely spreads the markers on the floor just as she likes. Haha.
この時の作品がこちら。
This was the one she was working on in the picture above.
これを見てビックリにした点がいくつかありまして、一つは今まで描いていたノンタンとは違うタッチで、キャラクターではないネコちゃんを描いた事。
She surprised and impressed me in so many ways just with this page. She'd drawn her favorite cartoon character which was a cat hundreds time, but that day she drew a different type of cat on her own.
見本を描いたりしていないのに、恐竜さん、ボート、みかん、水（海）などを自分で描き始めた事。
Besides the new cat, she mastered to draw the dinosaur, mandarin and water (sea) as well.
どこで見て覚えたのか（多分、YouTube）、自分で得た情報をもとに考えて描いているんだなぁとビックリしました。
I don't know where she learned it (probably from YouTube), but I was amazed how she'd taught herself from information that she obtained by herself.
この日もお絵描き。
She was drawing on this day too.
一番大きく描かれているのは以前のタッチとは少し変わったノンタン。右に描いてあるのもノンタンです。
This is the Nontan (her favorite cartoon character) that I mentioned above. One in the middle and one on the right are both Nontan.
以前はHit-chanが描いた見本通りの目の形を真似て描いていたんですが、最近は自分流にアレンジしてウィンクさせたりして、これも凄いなぁと思ってみています。
She used to draw exactly as I showed her before, but she recently makes the eye wink or arranges something as she liked, which entertains and impresses me a lot.
上がノンタンの妹タータン、頭にリボンをつけています。下がハチさん。
The kitty with a ribbon on the top is Ta-tan who's Nontan's sister and the one on the bottom is a bee.
これもタータンですが、こちらのおめめは点々になっています。
This is also Ta-tan, but she drew the eyes with dots.
これも違うバージョンのハチさん。にっこりバージョンです。
This is a different version of bee. Yup, the smile is so cute.
こちらはノンタンのお友達のぶたさん。お鼻もちゃんとハート型になってるし、口も「いー。」と歯を見せています。
Here's a friend of Nontan, Piggy. Look at his heart-shaped nose and the grinning mouth. That's so cool, isn't it?
最後に、Hit-chanがお気に入りの可愛いかたつむりさん。ちゃんとグルグルの殻も上手に描けています。
Lastly, my favorite, this cute snail. She drew the spiral shell very well too.
いつもは落ち着きのないめいですが、こうやって絵を描いている時は集中力を発揮してしばらくの時間一人で熱中してくれます。
May-chan is usually super active and not good at sitting still, but when she focuses on drawing, she's able to quietly sit still without needing mommy's attention at all for a while.
こんな感じで、今日のところはこの辺にしておこうかと思います。

よく見ると、お顔にも・・・アハハハハ
そうなんです、最近はフェイスペインティングにもハマっており、しょっちゅう自分の顔に色を塗っては喜んでいます。それを見てAndyは、「将来、体中にタトゥー入れたいって言いださへんやろうなぁ。」って心配しています。(笑)
