As for domestic politics Labor Party is liberal and labor union friendly. In contrast, Conservative Coalition is corporation friendly. The battle lines are development and conservation of nature, the revision of the national flag, the protection policy of aboriginal people, and the limitation of acceptance of immigrants and refugees. Australian first female prime minister, Gillard’s popularity expected Conservative Coalition to have had disadvantage, but the inflation caused by overheating of the economy has casted unlucky shadow over Labor Party.
