スポーツ大国の豪州はバスケットも得意。オリンピックにも11回出場し、いつも10位以内の成績。タイパンズはケアンズで唯一のプロスポーツ・チーム。昨夜は家から200ｍ離れたコンベンション・センターに対シドニー戦の試合を見に行きました。コートサイドのプラチナ席で1人4,000円。会場は八分の入り。試合は104対97で我らがタイパンズの勝利。

Australia, one of the sport kingdoms in the world plays good in basketball games. It has participated in the Olympic Games 11 times and always kept the position within best 10s. Taipans are the only professional sport team in Cairns. We went to Convention Centre to see the game against Sydney. The platinum seat ticket at the court side was $40 per head. There was 80% audience in the stadium. Our Taipans won by 104 to 97.
