音楽のエンコーディング構造（反復型の圧縮）の解析と遺伝的プログラミングの生物学分野への通用性。
The encoding captures the structure and I'm having fun with this approach - definitely an example of one kind of "computational thinking".
But most fun is my Genetic Programming experiment. In this we have little "programs" which describe the music, and we test their fitness by comparing to the piece of music we are analyzing. Then we take fit individuals and generate new descriptions by performing some quite familiar operations - mutations, crossovers, and also reversing subsequences or "transposing" them.
So... does this ring bells with biologists and bioinformaticians, and I wonder if I might borrow from that toolbox.
