@n0rr 一晩、議論できそうですね。概ね同意しますが、Human scienceのようなappliedなところと、純粋なscienceではまた変わりますし、当面はいわゆるゲノマーが多様な生物で必要なので、まだbioinformaticsの専門家は必要な気はします。

アメリカの医療分野でのRT-seqでは、DNA解析と臨床をつなぐゲノムアドバイザーを仲介するモデルも構想されてるけど、単にデータ処理という見方をすれば、いずれインフラが完成された時点でbioinformaticianである必要性はなくなるのかもしれない。エンジニアの一方面になる
