Enigma 20th Anniversary : ART CONTEST.

というわけで、始まりました20周年企画。（"MCMXC a.D."のリリースから数えて）来月には更なるサプライズが用意されているということですが、差し当たって発表されたのが、このウォールペーパー・コンテストの概要。

クレトゥ自身も含めたEnigma Managementの審査員によって評価され、TOP 10に入賞した作品はenigmaspace.comのFanlibraryへの掲載、さらにTOP3は、クレトゥのサイン入り"Platinum Collection"をゲット出来るそうです。


応募に当たっての条件は以下、（転載）

1. We are looking for individually created wallpapers. There are no artistic restrictions or guidelines.
2. The number of wallpapers per person are not limited. Please note that every upload requires a new uploading process.
3. All wallpapers must be released under a free license in oder to be showcasted on www.EnigmaSpace.com.
4. Make sure that you meet the format and size guidelines (1024 x 768, 1280 x 800, or 1920 x 1080 / jpg, jpeg, png or bmp).
5. There is a max. upload capacity of 4MB per file.
6. You need to subscribe in oder to upload your wallpaper in the premium section. Make sure that your contact details are up to date, so that we can inform the contest winner.

締め切り: 06/06/2010
結果発表は締め切り後、約一週間後。


ということで、かなり自由度は高め。
こういうコンテストの場合、使用する素材の出典についても細かい取り決めがあったり、国籍制限があったりする場合もあるので、敷居は低いです。独創性が問われる分、間口は広いと言えるでしょう。


これが「ニューアルバムに採用」とかだったりしたら、もっと反応が凄いんでしょうけどね～（もちろん制限も）。でも、過去作を通じて一貫した芸術性と美学を貫いて来たEnigmaの『Art』への拘りを感じさせる、実に「らしい」イベントではあると思います。チャレンジしてみようかな...
