The architecture that remains unweathered by the currents of time and ideology. This movie portrays the life journey of a Jewish architect who survived the Holocaust through breathtaking visuals and compelling momentum.

The outer shell of “Nothingness” and its inclusion into the community. The destination leads the architect toward the concrete.

『The Brutalist (ブルータリスト)』 定石を覆すタイトル・デザインに象徴される野心的な映像作品だった。第一部終了後の幕間（インターミッション）、John Tilburyによる儚いピアノ・インプロヴィゼーションから流れるような第二部導入の様式美。劇場の鑑賞者の過ごし方まで包摂する時間空間芸術

『ブルータリスト』、鑑賞後に情緒をこれほどまでにグチャグチャにされたのは『Pig』以来（翌日寝込んだほど）。視覚聴覚を圧倒する推進力で記述された映像言語であり、この映画自体がまさに一つのモニュメントと言える
