夢に満ちた青春から輝きが失われていきます。
私の子育て時代も苦悩に満ちた大変な時代でした。
何しろ、週休二日どころか、産前産後の休暇が各6週間の時代です。
職場の組合が保育園を作ってくれたから仕事を続けられましたが、
汚れた衣類や布おむつを持ち帰り、その日のうちに洗濯し、
翌日保育園に預ける衣類を用意するだけで、疲労困憊の毎日でした。

けれど4番になって、サロンのドアが開き、昔懐かしい声が彼女を温かく迎えます。

For in our hearts the dreams are still the same
いつの時代も、若者たちは夢を追い、挫折を経験し、傷つきながら、
癒しあう友や伴侶を得て、人生を紡ぎ続けるのが仕事のようです。
今、年齢は若くても、上記のような「若者としての仕事」を放棄し、
保身または病身をかこって老境に逃げ込んでいる人が増えている感じがします。
若者よ、夢を見続けよう！ ……って月並みな言葉かもしれませんが、
私は私自信へのエールとして叫び続けるつもりです。
