How's your life treating you today?
さて、昨日、6月30日ですが、Hit-chanのめちゃくちゃお世話になったお友達、ふじさんの誕生日でした！（おめでとー！）
So, June 30th was one of my precious friends, Fuji-san's birthday!! Happy birthday, Fuji-san!!
そして、この日はHit-chanがミネソタに移住してきた日でもあります。
And the day was also my anniversary of moving to MN from Japan.
2010年のこの日に移住したので、今年で11周年、12年目に入ります。
I moved here in 2010, so it's 11th anniversary this year and I've just started the 12th year of my MN life.
このブログは日本にいた頃から書いているので、日本からミネソタに来る時の様子もミネソタに着いた次の日に書き残していました。
I've been writing this blog since when I lived in Japan, so there's an article here that I wrote on the day after I moved to MN.
いやぁ、初々しいですなぁ。
Wow, I was so fresh and young back then. Haha.
11年前にミネソタに来た時は、アメリカで生活するという事自体が初めてで、見るもの、聞くものが全て新鮮で、今より11歳若いHit-chanはすごくワクワクして過ごしていたんだなぁと、当時のブログを読んでいると分かります。
When I came to MN 11 years ago, everything that I looked and heard was brand new and fresh to me, and I can tell from my own blog that 11 year-younger me was super excited everyday.
ミネソタに来て最初の数年はAndyっちとNBAの試合をよく観に行っていました。懐かしい～！
Yeah, Andy and I used to go to Wolves games pretty often in the first couple of years after I came here. What memorable days!
これも移住一年目の写真。着ている服変わってなーい！Andyっち、可愛い！（Hit-chan、顔がまだ放射線治療後の影響で今より浮腫んでるよね。）
This is also from the 1st year. Haha, I've worn the same clothes for over 10 years! Look how young and cute Andy was too! (My face still remained swollen from the radiation therapy back then.)
11年前よりもミネソタの生活の新鮮さは薄れましたが、めいが生まれて、これから学校生活が始まっていく中でHit-chanが今まで知らなかった世界を体験できそうです。
It's probably natural, but everything in my MN life has looked less fresh than 11 years ago. Though, I'm sure that I can meet more new and fresh experiences along with May-chan who's going to go through new things once she gets in school.
この11年間、全く変わらず、むしろ前より強く深くHit-chanをHit-chanのまま強く深く愛し続けてくれているAndyっちには改めて感謝しかありません。
For my loving husband, Andy, all I can say is that I appreciate him for loving me as who I am. His big love to me has been even stronger and deeper in the last 11 years.
これからのミネソタでの人生、少し前にこのブログに書いたんですが、色んな面でもっともっと甲斐性のある人間になって誰かの力になれるよう、理想の自分になれるように一歩一歩努力していきたいと思います！
I shared my honest feelings here the other day, but I do want to be someone more reliable and helpful for others in many ways from now on, so I'll try to keep taking steps ahead of me one by one which lead me to who I want to be.
