How's your day going today?
ミネソタ時間では昨日、2月12日はHit-chanの父と、生まれる前からお世話になっているDさんのお誕生日でございました。（おめでとう！）
In MN time, yesterdays, February 12th was birthday for my dad and D-san, a friend of my mom who's known me even before I was born. (Happy Birthday to Both!)
家族からは皆で焼肉を食べながら父のお誕生日をお祝いしている飯テロ写真が送られてきて、Andyっちと「は～、早く日本に行きたいねぇ。」とため息をついておりました。
My family sent me a couple of pictures when they're celebrating his BD eating super delicious Korean BBQ, which made both Andy and me feel like going back to Japan again!! "Aww.., we wish we could be there..."
さて、今日はセカンドステップシリーズです。
Okay, this is another article of Second Step series.
注：このシリーズ、全体的には現在進行形の事ではあるのですが、一つずつの記事は少し前の事を書いているので、少しタイムラグがあると思って読んでいただければ嬉しいです。
I've been writing about this topic, and this is something ongoing in our life for sure, but there's still a slight time lag from the present time. So, I hope that you'll read this as something happened a little time ago.
前回の記事でミネソタのクリニックで一から体外受精をしようと決め、初カウンセリングを受けたと書きました。
On the last article of this series, I talked that Andy and I decided to do an IVF from scratch at a clinic here in MN and had the first counseling with a doctor via video chat.
その後、早速最初の血液検査を予約して、Andyっちと2人で行く事になりました。
Shortly after the first counseling, we made an appointment for blood test and went to the clinic together one day.
ただ、日本の不妊治療クリニックでもあるように、このクリニックでも子供を連れての受診はできないようになっていました。
I mentioned this here before, but this clinic doesn't let you bring kids to the building, which is a common rule at infertility clinic in Japan too.
なので、この日はブラッド君にめいのベビーシッターをお願いしました。
So, for this appointment, we asked Brad to babysit May-chan.
採血の予約は7時半だったかな？なので、まだ日が昇らない7時前に家を出ました。この時点でめいはまだ夢のなかでした。
Our appointment was at 7:30am, so we left the house even before the sun came up. At the time, May-chan was still sleeping.
到着。
We're here!
検査自体はササっと終わりまして、結果は２、３日で出るとの事でした。
Collecting blood itself was done very quickly, and they said that it would take a couple of days to get the results back.
で、そのまま帰宅。
Then, we're on the way home.
この日初めてのベビーシッターで緊張していたブラッド君でしたが、めいが起きて30分もしない内に私達が帰宅したので、めいはまだお転婆パワーを発揮する前だったのである意味良かったです。(笑)
Brad was actually a little nervous since it was his first babysitting in his life, but we could get back home within 30mins after May-chan woke up. So, May-chan was not awake enough to behave bad yet at the point, which worked out pretty good. Haha.
おはよ～。まだ眠そう。
She still looked sleepy. Haha.
この時の血液検査の結果で、Hit-chanの方がやはり甲状腺刺激ホルモンが基準値より高かったので、前も飲んでいたお薬が処方される事になりました。
So, according to the results of the blood test, it showed that my TSH was higher than the normal number, which was the same problem that I had before. So, the doctor prescribed the same medication (Levothyroxin) that I used to take when we're going through the infertility treatment last time.

まぁ、そんな訳で、最初の血液検査を無事終えてホッとしたAndyっちとHit-chanでございました。
Anyways, Andy and I made our first clinic visit for the blood test without May-chan well.
