How are you doing today?
Hit-chanはここ1週間くらい急に花粉症が酷くなって、PMSも相まってアレルギー薬と鎮痛剤にお世話になることが多い今日この頃です。
I've got more and worse allergic symptoms from pollen since last week and besides that I'm now having PMS. So, I've been taking more allergy medicine and Advil lately.
金曜日の今日、Andyっちがお休みを取ったので、めいがスクールバスに乗るのを見送った後、ガッツリ一緒に一日を過ごしました。
Anyways, today is Friday and my hubby, Andy, got a day off, so we spent almost the entire day together after I said bye to May-chan getting on her school bus.
最初にしたのは、Andyっちのマツダの車をディーラーに預けに行くというので、Hit-chanは自分の車で一緒について行きました。
（なんかよく分かりませんが、より速くなるか何かのパーツを付けてもらうらしかったです。）
The first thing we did was that going to a Mazda dealership because Andy wanted to install a part to make his car faster or something and needed them to do it. So, I drove there by my car.
で、事前に、「どっか行きたいとこある？何かしたい事ある？」と聞いてくれたので、先日初めて日本人のお友達と一緒に行ったんですが、その時はゆっくり見られなかったので、車を預けた後一緒に行く事にしました。
He had planned to take today off a while ago and asked me, "Do you wanna go anywhere? Do you wanna do something particular?" beforehand. So, I told him that I would like to go to this store since I didn't have enough time to browse around the store when I went there with one of my Japanese friends the other day.
それがこちら。DRAGON STARというアジア系スーパーです。
This is the store called DRAGON STAR. As you can easily guess from the name, it's an Asian grocery store.

これを書いている今日が金曜日なんですが、ちょうど今週の月曜日に日本人のお友達が車のディーラーに行くのについて行きまして、そのディーラーから3分のこのお店があったので、「ちょっと見ていこう！」と寄ったんです。
Today is Friday and I actually went to the store Monday with my Japanese friend. My friend wanted to drop off her car at a car dealership which was only 3 mins away from this store, so "Why don't we stop by?" we swung by to check it out.
で、Hit-chanはその時に初めて行ったんですが、思った以上にお店が大きくて置いてあるものも多く、特にお肉コーナーに牛の頭丸ごと売ってあったりしたので、「今度絶対Andyと一緒にこよう！」って思ったんです。
It was my first time to step in the store and I was amazed by the size first. The store was way bigger than I had expected and the meat section was especially interesting to me. They were selling entire cow heads or other parts, which made me think, "I should come back here with Andy next!"
今まで何故に来なかったかというと、シンプルに我が家はあんまりこの地域に来る事が無かったんですねぇ。
BTW, why hadn't we been here before? Yeah, it's just because we simply didn't have any reasons to visit the area so much.
中は本当に大きくて、海産物やお肉の冷凍コーナーがかなり広い範囲に続いています。
Again, the store is very spacy and there are so many freezers for seafood or meat lined up.
お肉に関しては牛タンや豚タンを始め、内臓系も色々あるので、かなり興味深いです。
For the selection of meat, they sell beef tongues, pork tongues or other miscellaneous innards, which was very interesting.
タコも丸ごと売ってあって、いつも買うところよりも安めの値段だったので、ここで買うのもありだなぁと思いました。
They sell whole octopuses for more reasonable prices than ones at the store that I ususally buy from, so I can go back there just to get an octopus in the future too.
ただ、お肉もお魚も、冷凍にしろ、まだ買ったことが無いので品質がどれくらいなのかは何とも言えません。
Still, I haven't tried their frozen meat or seafood yet, so can't tell how good the quality would be.
スパイス系もこの品揃え。絶品のカレーを作るHit-chanの兄を連れてきたら喜ぶんじゃないかなって話していました。
They have a good election of spicies too. This sectioon made me think that I should bring my brother in Japan here because his homemade curry is awesome.
日本、中国、韓国系の食材はもちろん、ジャマイカの食品のコーナーもありました。
Not only they sell a good variety of Japanese, Chinese and Korean products, but also Jamaican stuff.
で、このコーナーでAndyっちが「あっ！！」
と言うので、何かと思ったらこちら。
When we're looking at the Jamaican section, "Oh!!" Andy said as grabbing this.
このホットソース、今まではアマゾンでしか見つからなかったらしいのですが、こんなところで発見。
He said that this hot sauce was one of his favorites, but only could find them on Amazon.
しかも、お値段がアマゾンで買うよりもかなり安かったらしく、もちろん購入。
Plus, the price was much cheaper than ones on Amazon, so why not? He got one.
このホットソースの発見だけでも、Andyっちが喜んでくれたので、このお店を紹介した意味があって良かったです。
I was very pleased with Andy finding the hot sauce for a reasonable price there, which made the shopping trip worth a lot.
ちなみにこのお店、品揃えは結構良いのですが、不便なのは値札の無い商品が結構あること。
One inconvenient thing that we noticed at the store was that they didn't put price tags on many things there.
でもね、これ見つけたんですよ。バーコードスキャンすれば値段が出てくるやつ。
Though, we found this barcode scanner here! You scan a barcode on a product and then it shows the price.
ただ、このスキャナー、今回1台しか見なかったのですが、各通路に1個くらい置いてほしいくらい値札が無い商品が多かったので、便利なようで便利じゃない感じでした。(笑) 
Although, we found only 1 scanner in the store. We might have missed some scanners, but they should put more scanners or put price tags on all the products. So, I couldn't tell if having the scanner was really convenient or not. Haha.
結局、Andyっちはパシーヤペッパーという乾燥唐辛子、さっき話したお気に入りのホットソース、Hit-chanは韓国製のサムジャン、韓国製のごま油を買いました。
（普段はかどやのごま油を使っているんですが、YouTube情報で韓国のごま油は香り高いというのを聞いたので試してみたかったんです。）
After we took as much time browsing around as we liked, Andy bought Pasilla peppers and the hot sauce and I got Ssamjang (Korean miso) and sesame oil made in Korea.
(I usually buy a Japanese brand for sesame oil, but heard that Korean sesame oil was very flavorful on YouTube, so I wanted to try it.)
じっくりゆっくりお買い物をした後、ちょうど12時前だったので、ランチはここで買っていくことに。
After we're done the fun shopping, it was a little before noon, so we headed to take out lunch here.
Hit-chanはこの記事で食べているのと全く同じのをテイクアウトしました。
Ham's Sandwich which is our favorite sandwich shop. I got my usual wrap which was introduced on the article above.
で、家に帰った後、しばらく休んで、ディーラーさんから部品の取り付けが終わったと連絡があったので、また一緒に取りに行き、別々の車で帰宅。
We took some relaxing time at home for a while and then Andy got a phone call from the dealership. So, we drove there by my car and separately came home by each one's car.
と、こんな感じで今日一日が過ぎて行った訳ですが、めいがキンダーに行き始めてくれたお陰で、Andyっちとガッツリ一日一緒に過ごすことができました。
This is how Andy and I spent today together. Thanks to May-chan for spending most of her day at kidergarten everyday, we could do a lot of things together.
自分のお休みをHit-chanと過ごしたいと言ってくれたAndyっちに感謝です。
I also appreciate Andy for telling me that he would like to spend his off day with me.
