How are you doing today?
ミネソタはすっかり冬の気温に突入しまして、朝晩は氷点下が当たり前になりました。
MN is completely in the winter temperature and it gets below 30F in morning and night.
寒いのはそんなに不便ではないんですが、この先雪が降ったり、路面が凍結したりすると、車の運転が怖くなるので嫌ですねぇ。
I don't mind about the coldness so much, but I hate to have to driv on icy and snowy roads.
さて、今日も日本帰国の様子の続きでございます。
Anyways, I want to talk about the homecoming trip again.
あきさんのお家に行く途中、夕食の買い出しに近くのスーパーに立ち寄りました。
On the way to Aki's house, we stopped at a grocery store to get some stuff for dinner.
久しぶりの日本のスーパー！
This is a Japanese grocery store!
美味しそうなものがいっぱい並んでる惣菜コーナーに大興奮！
I got so excited to see the deli corner.
お酒コーナー。やっぱり、日本は缶が主流だね。アメリカは瓶が多いよ。
The liquor section. Most of Japanese beers are canned compared to bottled ones in the US.
野菜コーナー。
Veggie corner.
見て、これが新鮮で美味しい日本の大根やで！（ミネソタのんに比べて、大きさとハリが全然違うね。）
Look!! This is a fresh Daikon in Japan! (The size and the texture are way different from ones in MN.)
お菓子コーナー。
Candy and snack corner.
お刺身コーナー。
Sashimi corner.
新鮮なお刺身がいっぱい！！！
Tons of fresh seafood!
日本のファンタ。
Japanese Fanta.
日本のスプライト。
Japanese Sprite.
清算の後に、こうやって自分で袋詰めするのも、ミネソタではしてないなぁ。
（こんなちょっとした事が懐かしかったよ。）
After you cashed, there's a table you can pack your things in a bag. I don't see the space in MN so much.
(This little thing made me nostalgic.)
あきさんの家の近くのイオンがめちゃ大きいのもあって、品揃えの豊富さに感動しましたよ。
This grocery store near Aki's house was huge and I was so impressed by the variety of the products.
いやぁ、ミネソタのスーパーにも日本の惣菜が並んでたら、疲れて料理する気力が無い時も美味しいものがすぐ食べられて、めちゃくちゃ便利やろうなぁと夢みてしまいました。(笑)
Oh well, I wish I had a grocery store having such a nice deli corner close to my house. Then, when I'm tired
久しぶりの日本のスーパーに感動した後は、あきさんのお家に行きました。
After I got so impressed and excited at the grocery store, we headed to Aki's house.
