皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How are you doing today?
時差ぼけ調整ですが、めいの時差ぼけ自体は順調に毎日1時間縮める事ができており、ようやく夜寝て朝起きるというパターンに入ってきました。
Speaking of fixing May-chan's jet lag, I have been able to move her bed time back for 1 hour a day so far, and we finally got in the cycle to wake up in the morning and go to bed at night, which is awesome.
が、日本にいる間に添い寝で寝るのに慣れてしまったのか、夜泣きが始まりました。（がーん！）
Though, she's used to cuddle with me and fall asleep by my side in Japan and suddenly started waking up in the middle of the night. (Dang!!)
詳しい話はまた書くとして、今日もササっとステイトフェアの続きを書いていきます。
I'd like talk about more details of that on another day and want to write quickly about the fair diary here today.
2日行ったうちの1日目の後半です。
Okay, this is about the 2nd half of the first day.
Andyっちはいつものやつをゲット。
Andy got his usual fair drink.
ビールね。フェア中は毎日種類が入れ替えられるらしい。（へぇ。）
Beer. (Oh, it's not only his fair drink. It's his all the time drink!) Anyways, they change the kinds on tap every day during the fair.
Hit-chanはいつものチベットの服屋さんでサマードレスを購入。
Then, I bought a summer dress at this Tibet dress shop.
こちらの服屋さんでドレスを買うのも毎年恒例になってきてます。
It's become my fair tradition to buy a dress at the shop every year.
お値段も手頃だし、背の低いHit-chanに合うサイズだし、洗濯機で洗えるし、そして可愛いし、めっちゃお気に入りです！
I love their dresses because they are very reasonable, perfect-sized for a small person like, machine-washable and needless to say, they're so cute too!
途中、めいが寝ている間。。。
In the meantime while May-chan was taking a nap...,
Hit-chanはアメリカンドッグをゲット。めいはすぐ起きちゃったけどね。
I got a 1 foot-long corn dog!! Yeah, May-chan woke up shortly though.
そんでもって、Hit-chanがフェアで必ず買うケトルコーンもゲット。
Also, I didn't forget to buy this sweet and tasty kettle corn which I get at the fair every year!
で、トイレの前でパパママ＆ブラッド君と合流。
In front of this bathroom, we gathered with Dad&Mom and Brad.
そんでもって行列に並んで。。。
Then, I joined this long line to get...
ポークチョップ。AndyっちもHit-chanもフェアで一番好きな食べ物かな。
this. Pork chop on a stick. This is probably both Andy's and my favorite fair food.
Andyっちはこちらのソーセージ屋さんで。。。
Andy also went to this sausage stand and...
ホットドックをゲット。朝も昼もホットドック。
got this hot dog. Yeah, he got one hot dog in the morning and another one in the afternoon.
Hit-chanもよく分からないけど、日本フランクフルトみたいにソーセージを売っているお店はこっちではあんまり見ない気がする。
I'm not sure much about this, but I've seen a lot places selling just sausage on a stick in Japan, but I don't see it so much here.
この屋台みたいにソーセージを売りにしたお店もホットドック形式で出てくる事が多いかな。
I think that most of the sausage places like this stand would serve their sausages with a hotdog bun.
ダディが2度目のホットドックを買ったので、めいも2度目のホットドックのパン。(笑)
Daddy got his 2nd hot dog of the day, so May-chan got her 2nd hot dog bun of the day too! Haha.
こんな感じでお腹がいっぱいになって人もいっぱいになってきた頃、家に帰ることにしました。
Then, when our bellies got full with lots of the fair food and the fair ground started getting full with lots of human beings, we decided to leave.
で、帰る前、お昼の1時前に撮った写真です。
Before we took off, I took this picture, which was around 1pm.
同じ場所で朝撮った時はこんな感じでした。
This is the picture that I took in the morning at the same spot.
この日はフェアの初日で平日だったんですが、人がいつもより多かったように思います。
It was the first day of the fair and Thursday, but I felt like that there were more people hanging out there than usual.
朝からいつもより人が多かったので、人混みを歩いてちょっと疲れちゃいました。
Since we walked around in the bigger crowd than usual from the morning, both Andy and I got tired already in the early afternoon.
1日しか行く予定が無かったら、「あれも食べたかった。」「これもまだ見たかった。」と後ろ髪を引かれながら帰らないと行けなかったでしょうが、もう1日行くと分かってので、「次来た時にしよう。」と気持ちに余裕を持って家路に着くことができました。
（もちろん、入場料は2倍かかるけどね。笑）
If we hadn't planned to go to the fair one more time, I would have felt like, "Oh, I wanted to eat that one." or "I still wanted to see it." and had to leave the fair, but having the 2nd chance let me feel like, "Okay, I'll do it next time." and go home happily. (Of course, we have to pay double for the admission fee though. Haha)
初ステイトフェアだっためいですが、まぁ、それなりに楽しんでくれたと思います。(笑)
It was May-chan's first fair, and I think that she had much fun in her way. Haha.
という事で、フェア1日目の様子はこんな感じでした！フェア2日目に続きます！
