諸説は在る
その中で信じるもの
自らが肌で感じたもの
歌い手の方にもよるのでしょう
しかし、その中で感銘を受けたもの
その歌い手が歌に込めた想い
それだけで良いと思うのです。

奴隷船の船長を辞め
賛美歌を書き続けた
彼の声
今でも響き続けています。
