道路清掃車

国土が広大で人口が少ない豪州では単純作業は安全と効率を重視。効率向上のために機械化とワンマン作業が徹底しています。公園や歩道の落ち葉は箒で掃き集めるのではなく、ブロアーで車道に吹き飛ばします。車道の落ち葉は清掃車が吸い取っていきます。豪州の道路は両端に排水管が走っているので路上に土砂や塵埃はほとんどたまりません。清掃車が吸い取るのは大半が落ち葉なのでそのまま堆肥ゴミ場に直行します。

In Australia where has a large territory and a small population there is an importance of safety and efficiency for menial labors. To improve the efficiency mechanization and one-man labors are fully taken care of. Leaves on the walkways and the parks are not swept up with brooms but blown away onto the roadway with the blowers. The road sweepers vacuum them away. As the drainpipes are settled both sides of the driveways, there is scarcely pile of dirt and dust. Most stuff that the road sweepers vacuum is fallen leaves, so it is directly carried to the compost factories.
