ある死刑囚が薬殺刑に処される。
その遺体は輪切りにされデータとして保存。U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) の人体構造視覚化計画、Visible Human Projectの重要な一画を占めることになった。
死刑囚の妄念さえ漂わせる、このレクイエムとも言うべき幻想的な写真は、実際に彼が提供した視覚データを長時間露光を用いたLight-Painting的手法でオブジェクト化したもの。

On the shores of the Baltic and North seas it was the prosperous Hanseatic League which considerably influenced musical life. Aristocrats and burghers insisted that the members of local chapels should be allowed to practice their art, like the organists and musicians attached to the service of the different towns. Thus a generation of musicians was born. Assembled on this disc, their music probably never achieved the recognition it deserved.

「最適」な解の現実での有用さを考えるときには、現状における最適さの「不適応」さからスタートしねばならない。

文科省のサイトでも1μGy≒1μSvと解説されてるのが気になる。そりゃマイクロ単位じゃ殆ど意味が無いけど、影響の及ぶ臓器の部位によって変わる組織荷重係数は、100-1000mSvレベルになってくると全く負荷の高さが違ってくる。症状を発現する閾値というものを考えるべき。
少なくとも、影響が懸念される放射性物質ごとに、その放射線荷重係数・それぞれが影響を及す体の部位の組織荷重係数を分類して可視化する必要がある。
因に最も放射線の影響受けやすい生殖腺の組織荷重係数は「0.20」。でもヨウ素131は喉に蓄積するため脅威になりにくいが、セシウム137を体内に取り込むと血液を通じて全身にガンマ線を放射する為リスクが高い。
可視化する際には、こういった特性ごとに放射能被曝の度合いを示した人体アトラスがあると便利。
専門外の人間がこうしたことをイチイチ示さなければならないのは、やはり政府側の対応の至らなさに依る所が大きい。例の放射能アプリについて辛辣なレビューを投げている人々は、もともと学術的課題であるデータ可視化に向け、多くの技術者や研究者が既に動き始めてることに無知でもある。
□ 業務外ではあるけど、帝国データバンクの公表とは別に三月の中小企業の倒産動向を集計中。大型倒産以外の中小規模の製造業が倒れて関係会社が連鎖倒産中。地震の影響は無関係のもの。過疎地の小さい事業所からは自殺者が増えそう。。
製造拠点の海外移転はともかく、長引く不況で中小製造業のネットワークがナローな状態で共依存傾向にあるので、まるでアポトーシスの結晶化。
□ 失恋の痛みは、プロゲノートが古細菌と真正細菌とに別れた時の痛みであり、グアニンとシトシンの水素結合が引き剥がされる痛みであり、X,Yボゾンが陽子崩壊を引き起こす痛みに何処か似ている。
