さて、今日も旅行日記の続きです。（汗）
Okay, I want to keep writing about our first family trip with May-chan today again.
前回の記事で書きましたが、遅めのランチで2つのオーダーミスがあり、ちょっとがっかりしたHit-chanでした。
On the last article, I said that I was a little bit disappointed by the 2 mistakes on our lunch order.
その後、ホテルの近くのミニゴルフ場を覗いて見ましたが、まだ繁忙期に入っていないので土曜日のみの営業で、金曜日のこの日は閉まっておりました。
After the lunch, we stopped by a mini golf place near the hotel, but they're closed since it's still too early for the summer season, and the sign said they're open only on Saturdays.
なので、そのままホテルの部屋に戻ってゆっくりしました。
So, we just went back to the hotel room and relaxed.
確か、めいはドライブ中にしっかり寝たので、この日はお昼寝しなかったような。（もう既に記憶が曖昧。汗）
I already don't remember much about the day, but May-chan didn't take a nap on the day because she slept enough in the car...or maybe she did. (My memory is gone.LOL)
この日の夕食はあまりお腹が空いていなかったので、持ってきていたスナックなどで済ませました。
Neither Andy nor I wasn hungry so much in the evening, so we just munched some snacks we brought for the rest of the night.
もちろん、室内にある大きなホットタブでめいとお風呂に入ったんですが、めいもいつもより大きなタブで一杯水しぶきを作って遊んでました。
We stayed in the room with a big hottub, so May-chan and I enjoyed it together at night. May-chan had so much fun with making lots of splashes with her hands in the big tub.
で、翌日。
On the next day...,
2日目のこの日は、4時半に夕食にお気に入りのレストランを予約していたので、早めのランチを軽く取ることにしました。
Andy made a reservation at our favorite restaurant up north, Norway Ridge, at 4:30pm on the day, so we decided to grab an early lunch.
この日のランチはホテルから歩いて行ける、いつも行くピザ屋さんにしました。
We went to our usual pizza place which is walkable from the hotel.
ベビーカーを使うか悩みましたが、Andyっちがこうやってせっせと運んでくれました。(笑)
We debated if we would want to use the stroller to get there, but Andy carried it like this. Haha.
ここもバケーションでいつも行く場所です。
Yeah, like I just said, this is the pizza place where we always go on vacation.
メニューも変わらずいつも通り。
The menu is same as usual too.
この日は忘れずにおもちゃも持って行きました。
This time, we didn't forget to bring May-chan's toys to entertain her.
Hit-chanはいつもと変わらずカシュ―チキンサラダ。安定の美味しさ。
I ordered my favorite salad, Cashew Chicken Salad. Yeah, it was just perfect as always.
Andyっちが、「それで足りるの？」と心配してくれたんですが、この日の夕食は豪華なんで、ちゃんとお腹を空かせておかなきゃ損！と思って、ランチはこれだけで終わり。
Andy was kindly worried and asked me, "Is it enough?", but I wanted to leave enough room in my stomach to enjoy dinner at our favorite restaurant later that day, so I didn't eat anything else for lunch.
Andyっちはいつものピザ。本当、アメリカ人ってピザ好きだよねぇ。
Andy ordered his usual pizza. Yeah, American people really love pizza.
めいもここでランチを一緒に取りました。
May-chan had her lunch with us too.
AndyっちとHit-chanにとっては何度も来ているいつもの場所なんですが、今回はめいを連れて来ているので、また違った感覚で「3人家族になったんだなぁ。」と不思議な気持ちになりました。
Cross Lake area is a very special and familiar place for Andy and me to spend our relaxing time and we've been there so many times, but it's the very first time to bring May-chan with us, and it made me feel weird that the very familiar trip destination looked somehow different with the special addition of our family.
という訳で、今日の所はこの辺で！まだまだ続きます！！
