How's your day going?
今日のミネソタ、とうとう来ちゃいました。
Here in MN, it's finally here today!
朝起きると雪が積もっており、今も降り続いているところです。
Yup. I woke up to this typical MN winter view this morning and it's still snowing now.
今年の冬はつい1週間前くらいまですごく暖かくて、気温も摂氏15度くらいあったのでジャケットの必要ない日もあったんですが、ここ数日で一気に気温が下がり、少し雪がパラつくこともあったんですが、こんなにがっつり雪が降ったのは今日が初めてです。
This winter it'd been very warm until a week ago or so and the temperature was about 60F on some days, but in the last some days, the temperature drastically dropped and we got some sprinkle of snow once or twice. Still, today is the first time for us to get this much snow this winter.
こんな雪の日におでかけしないといけない場所があるので、安全運転第一で頑張っていきたいと思います！
Unfortunately, I have a couple of chores and need to drive for them on this snowy day, so I'll do my best for the safe drive today!
さて、今日もパパママ宅滞在記です。
Okay, this is about Day 4 at Dad&Mom's house.
4日目のこの日はお天気に恵まれました。
On Day 4, it was such a beautiful day.
朝からグランパとグランマに構ってもらって嬉しいめいさん。
Again, May-chan's so happy to get a lot of attention from Grandpa&Grandma.
折角だから、家族3人（Andyっち、めい、Hit-chan）の時間を過ごそうという事で、近くの公園まで。
Andy and I wanted to have some time just with 3 of us, so we went out to a park nearby.
公園に行く前に近くのコーヒーショップでコーヒーと軽い朝ご飯をゲットしたので、このスペースで食べる事に。
On the way to the park, we got coffee and light snacks at a coffee shop, so we enjoyed them at this space.
めいはクッキーだったかな、を食べています。
May-chan was eating a cookie.
食べかけですが、Andyっちはおかず系のデニッシュパン。中はチーズとか入ってたのかな？
Andy got a savory danish. I don't remember, but it had cheese and ham or something in it.
Hit-chanはシンプルなケーキドーナツ。
I got this very simple cake donut.
で、ちょっとハプニングだったのが、Andyっちが知っていた公園（めいを前に連れてきたことがある）なんですが、行ってみたら遊具が全部なくなってたよー！！
What's funny and surprising was that the park where Andy had taken May-chan to before was all gone!! The entire playground vanished. Oh no!!
なので、代わりにお散歩する事に。
So, we decided to walk around the area instead.
この桟橋から釣りをしている人もいました。
There were some people fishing from the dock.
湖の水がすっごく綺麗で。。。
The lake water was super clear.
桟橋からも泳いでいるお魚たちがハッキリ見えました。
So, we could see fish in the water very clearly from the dock.
折角なので、ビーチのある方へ歩いていくと。。。
We walked toward the beach.
ラッキー！滑り台を発見。
Lucky! There's a slide!
この滑り台の場所でしばらくめいを遊ばせて、途中、楽しすぎておしっこを漏らしちゃうというハプニングもありましたが、喜んでいたので連れて来て良かったなぁと大満足。
May-chan loved playing at the slide, but she was too excited to tell us that she needed to go to potty. Haha. Still, I was very pleased to let her play there.
近くにこんな顔ハメパネルもあって、折角なので撮ってみました。
There's a big panel too. So, why not?
何か分からんけど面白くって、Hit-chanとめい、ケラケラ笑ってました。
I don't know why, but it felt so funny and May-chan and I kept giggling together.
お散歩から戻ると、パパママとお庭で野球ごっこ。
When we're back from the fun family walk, we played baseball in the yard with Dad&Mom.
めいも喜んでやっていましたが、AndyっちとHit-chanが意外にもハマって、しばらく投げたり打ったりして良い運動になりましたとさ。
May-chan liked hitting a ball with a bat, but Andy and I were having much more fun with it and enjoyed pitching and batting together for a while, which was a good exercise for us.
この日の夕飯はちょっとお洒落なレストランでお祝いディナーだったので、その様子は次の記事で書きたいと思います。
We're going to have a special dinner at a fancy restaurant that night, so I will write about it on the next article.
