How's your day going today?
さて、前回の記事でめいの15ヶ月検診の様子を書いたんですが、今日はその翌日の様子を書いていきたいと思います。
So, I wrote about May-chan's 15month check-up on the previous article, and today I want to share about the day after.
15ヶ月検診では大きな問題や心配事もなく、予防接種の注射を4本受けて終わりました。
On her 15month check-up, thankfully we didn't have any big concern or problem about her, and all she needed was taking 4 vaccine shots in the end.
もちろん、めいは注射を打った時は泣いていましたが、その後外出自粛に備えて行ったターゲットでも普通にしていましたし、特に心配しておりませんでした。
Needless to say, May-chan cried hard when she took the shots, but she went back to normal shortly after and enjoyed shopping for quarantine at Target as usual. So, I didn't worry about her at all at the point.
こんな感じで買い物を楽しんでおりました。
She was like this at Target.
が、翌日になって、めいの様子が少しいつもと違う事に気づきました
Though, I noticed that May-chan was a little different from usual in the next morning.
朝いつも通りに起きたんですが、少し元気がなく熱っぽい。
We woke up at the same time as always, but I found her a little warmer and less energetic then usual.
愚図るという訳では無いし、朝一番の牛乳もちゃんといつもと同じくらい飲んだのですが、どうも動きたくないようなのです。
Still, she wasn't fussy or grumpy at all and took her morning milk as much as usual too. Though, she was zero active.
いつもは服を着替えさせると自分でトコトコと歩いて遊びはじめるんですが、この日はどうも歩きたくない上に立つ事も嫌なようでした。
She usually starts walking around once I change her clothes in the morning, but she even didn't want to stand up that day.
なので、こんな風にソファの上に陣取って、TVを観たり、お菓子を食べたり過ごす事に。。。
So, I put her on the couch and let her do everything like watch TV or munch snacks there.
最近ずっとAKB48のビデオにハマっております。
She's been really into AKB48 songs recently.
その様子に少し心配ではありましたが、動きたがらない以外は特に愚図るでもなく、こんな感じであくびをして余裕な様子。
Of course, I was a little bit worried about her, but except for that she's no active, she was doing fine and even being relaxed and yawned like this.
いつもは元気いっぱい動き回っているのに、この日は本当1日のほとんどをソファの上か床の上に座って過ごしました。
Literally, May-chan spent pretty much the entire day sitting on the couch or the floor that day.
インフルエンザの予防接種の影響で熱っぽかったのもあって、こんなとろーんとした顔になってました。
She was warm from the flu shot the day before, so looked very drowsy like this too.
恐らく、歩きたがらなかったのは、太ももに4本注射を一気に打たれたのが、翌日になって痛んだからだと思います。
I believe that she didn't want to walk at all since she had 4shots on her thighs at once started feeling the pain on the day after.
で、結局この日はこうやって過ごし、次の日になったらすっかりいつものめいに戻っており安心しました。
She ended up spending the day being so calm and quiet on the day, but turned back to normal on the next day, which made me very relieved.
もちろん心配はしましたが、久しぶりに動かないめいと過ごして正直に思ったのが、「こんなにジッとしていてくれたら、めっちゃ楽やなぁ。」でした。(笑)
Like I said, I was worried about her unusual behavior, but honestly, a part of me felt like, "Wow, if she doesn't move at all like this, my day is super easy!!" LOL
Andyっちも同じように感じていたらしく、「たまにこんな感じになってくれたら、めっちゃ楽やなぁ。」って笑って話しておりました。
Andy actually felt the exact same thing and said, "I kind of like it when she doesn't move like this sometimes." Haha.
そんな感じで、予防接種の翌日にはいつもは見られないめいになってしまいましたが、その後特に何事もなかったので良かったです。
Anyways, May-chan was quite different from usual on the day after the vaccine shots, but I'm glad that it didn't come to a big deal.
