How's everything going today?
今日のミネソタ、めちゃんこ寒いです。
Here in MN today, it's extremely cold!
ゴミ捨てに外に出ただけなんですが、雪が手について冷たすぎてすごい痛かったので、家に入って速攻お湯で温めました。
I only stepped outside to take out the garbage this morning, and snow touched my hands was super cold. It felt more like a pain than coldness on my hands, so I rushed back in the house and washed my hands with warm water right away.
さて、前回の記事に引き続き、今年の我が家の感謝祭後半とブラックフライデーの朝の様子です。
Okay, I want to write the rest of our Thanksgiving day and also a bit of Black Friday morning too.
皆でママのお手製感謝祭ディナーとパンプキンパイを頂いた後は。。。
After we all enjoyed Mom's delicious Thanksgiving dinner and pumpkin pie...,
地下にあるファミリールームのTVで。。。
chilled out in the family room downstairs.
フットボール観賞。今回は特に贔屓のチームの試合じゃなかったので、ゆるゆると観てました。
We watched a football game on TV. It was not a Vikings or Packers game, which means that nobody cared about the result so much, so everyone was peacefully watching it.
その間、めいは何だかハイパーでめちゃくちゃ楽しんでました。(笑)
While the boys were enjoying the game, May-chan was enjoying her hyper time too. LOL
その後、Hit-chanはめいをお風呂に入れて寝かしつけまして、大人たちだけのゆっくり落ち着いた時間に突入。
Later that, I bathed May-chan and put her in bed. Then, the quiet time just for adults began.
普段はそのまま皆でTVを観ることが多いのですが、今年は。。。
Usually we just spend the night time watching TV on Thanksgiving day, but this year was a little bit different.
ポーカータイム！
It's poker time!
正直、Hit-chanはTVでフットボール観るよりも、こうやって皆でポーカーをする方が数倍好きです。
To he honest with you, I much prefer playing cards together with everyone to just watching a football game on TV.
こうやってチップの代わりに1セント硬貨（ペニー）を使って遊びます。
We used pennies as chips.
この夜はHit-chanとAndyっちに運がありまして、夫婦してたくさんのペニーを手に入れました。（パパママのペニーだったからそのままお返ししたけどね。笑）
At the night, Andy and I had a big luck and earned a lot of pennies. (They were originally Dad&Mom's pennies, so we return our chips at the end. Haha.)
ポーカーの後はピザの夜食。
After we enjoyed playing cards, we had pizza for light snack.
そこで夜も更けてきたので、お開き。こんな感じで今年の感謝祭は過ぎていきました。
It was getting late after the snack time, so we dismissed the poker party. This is how we spent the Thanksgiving night.
で、翌朝のブラックフライデー。
Then, in the Black Friday morning...
Andyっちが皆の為にハムと玉子の朝食を作ってくれてます。
Andy kindly cooked ham and eggs for everyone.
めいも最初は一人で遊んでいたんですが。。。
May-chan was having fun with the tong by herself first, but...
やっぱりこうやって構ってちゃんになりました。（私達が料理してる時には特に引っ付きたがります。）
she went to Daddy and got stuck on him. (For some reason, she wants to get attention especially when we cook.)
で、完成。これはHit-chanのプレート。昨日の感謝祭ディナーの残りのパンも一緒に。
This is my plate. I added the leftover dinner rolls from the Thanksgiving dinner.
めいはこの前に自分の朝食を平らげたんですが、パン大好き人間なので、Hit-chanと一緒にパンもパクパク食べました。
May-chan actually had finished her own breakfast but couldn't pass the bread since she's a big bread lover.
で、予定ではこの日、例年通りにクリスマスツリーハントに行くつもりだったんですね。
Well, we're going to go to Christmas tree hunt in the morning, which is our family tradition on Black Friday.
なので、めいにもツリーハント用の服を着せていました。
So, I put warm clothes on May-chan for the tree hunt.
この時点でギリギリ着られました。
The cute outfit barely fit May-chan. She's getting bigger.
お尻のしっぽが可愛くてお気に入り。
I like the tail. Isn't it so cute??
ママも喜んでくれました。
Mom loved it too.
で、この後、パパとママのリタイアに向けた準備に関するちょっとした用事が発生致しまして、この日はツリーハントに行くのは中止して、私達とブラッド君はそのまま家に帰る事になりました。
Then, Dad&Mom happened to make sure something about their retirement in the morning, so Brad and we just headed back home instead of going to the tree hunt.
あ、そうそう、毎年ブラックフライデーに何だか特別なビールが数量限定で売り出されるので、いつもはツリーハント前の朝一に酒屋さんに並んで買っているんです。
Oh yeah, I should talk about this too. This is another Black Friday thing to us, especially to Andy, and there's a special kind of beer coming out on sale on Black Friday every year. The number of the bottles is limited, so we usually swing by a liquor store on the way to the tree farm first in the morning and buy the beer (for Andy).
いつも一人1本とか決まっているので家族総出でAndyっちの為に並ぶのですが、今年はめいもいるし予定変更もあったりで、Andyっち一人で朝一で酒屋さんに行ってゲットしてました。
They only sell 1 bottle per person or something, so we always all stand in the line and get a bottle for Andy. Though, things were a little different with May-chan and the plan change this year, so Andy ended up going to the liquor store by himself. Still, he got what he wanted!
そんな訳で、めいの初めてのクリスマスツリーハントは見送りになりましたが、初めての感謝祭は大いに楽しんでくれて嬉しかったです。
Anyways, unfortunately, we needed to pass May-chan's first tree hunt this year, but she had a great time on her first Thanksgiving day, which made me super happy.
という訳で、今日はこの辺で～！！！
