Hit-chanは元気ですよ。
Mine is going very well.
さて、5月の終わり、Hit-chanの友達のスカーレットが家まで遊びに来てくれました。
So, in the end of May, my friend, Scarlet came over to our house.
めいが生まれてからずっと会いに来たいと言ってくれてたんですが、色々忙しくて、5月も終わる頃になりようやく実現しました。
She's been saying that she wanted to meet May-chan since she was born, but things kept her busy and made the plan postponed until the end of May.
この日のめい、スカーレットが来たのが嬉しかったのか、めちゃくちゃご機嫌さんでした。
On the first meeting with auntie Scarlet, May-chan was super excited and happy.
一杯遊んでもらえるのが良かったのかな。(笑)
The auntie generously played with her more than mommy usually did, and probably that's why May-chan was extremely happy then. Haha.
この日、お天気が曇り空でしたが、折角来てくれたので一緒にいつもの散歩道に行く事にしました。
The weather was very cloudy on the day, but we decided to go for a walk on our usual trail together anyways.
スカーレット、念のためにレインブーツで来てました。折角なのでベビーカーを押してもらいました。
Scarlet was wearing the rain boots. Haha. I asked her to push the storoller.
このトレイルの横には沼？的なものがあるんですが、この写真を良く見ると。。。
By the trail, there's a pond, and when you see this picture closer...
カメさんが日向ぼっこしてました。京都の実家近くを思い出す～！！
Yup! There are turtles enjoying the sunshine! The scenery actually made me recall my hometown, Kyoto, in Japan!
30分くらいのお散歩だったかなぁ？心配だったお天気も何とか持って、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
It was a light 30min walk or so, but the weather was fine and let us spend a great time outside together.
いつもはめいと2人のお散歩で、Hit-chanはめいに話しかけても返事がないので（当たり前、笑）、スカーレットと色々話ながらお散歩できたので時間が経つのが速く感じました。
On my usual walk just with May-chan, even though I talk to May-chan, she doesn't respond to me at all (Yeah, no doubt!), so it was very fun for me to have a nice company to talk to on the day. I felt that time passed more quickly than usual too.
写真を撮るのを忘れたんですが、この日スカーレットがお土産で自宅で飼っている鶏の新鮮な玉子を持ってきてくれました。ありがとー！
I forgot to take a picture of them, but Scarlet kindly brougnt a dozen of fresh chicken eggs that she got from her own chickens for us. Thank you!
このブログにも1度載せたんですが、スカーレットの自宅の素敵な農園と鶏ちゃん達はこんな感じです。
I've put these pics here before, but here are the pics of Scarlet's beautiful garden and chickens.
ちなみに、アレルギー予防の為に先日からめいに玉子の黄身を食べさせてるんですが、めいの人生初の玉子はスカーレットの玉子でした。
BTW, I started feeding May-chan egg york to prevent the allergy from a week ago, and May-chan's very first egg in her life was auntie Scarlet's egg!
あと、めいにもこんなプレゼントをくれました。
Besides the fresh and tasty eggs, Scarlet gave May-chan this cute present too.
スカーレット手作りの編みぐるみのハチさん。めっちゃ気に入ってます。
It's her handmade bee! May-chan really loves it!
今はお互い1時間くらい離れた場所に住んでいるので頻繁には会えませんが、こうやってわざわざ我が家に来てくれたスカーレットに感謝です。
Scarlet and I live about 1 hour drive away from each other, and it's made us harder to hang out often like we used to, but I really appreciate her for driving all the way to come and see us.
いつもありがとうね～！
