相変わらず赤ちゃんはまだまだ出てきそうにない、今日この頃です。
Our baby's still hanging out in my belly and it doesn't seem like her coming out sometime so soon.
さて、前回感謝祭の様子を書きましたが、今日はその翌日、ブラックフライデーに行ったクリスマスツリー狩りの様子を書いていきたいと思います。
So, I wrote about our Thanksgiving this year on the last article and today, I want to share our Christmas tree hunt on Black Friday this year.
我が家では、感謝祭の次の日のブラックフライデーにクリスマスツリーを買いに行くのが定番になっているのですが、ここ数年、それに加えてもう一つ定番になりつつあるものがあります。
It's our family tradition that we go to Christmas tree hunt on Black Friday and besides that, there's a thing becoming anotehr family tradition of Black Friday in the last couple of years.
それはAndyっちの限定ビールを手に入れる事。
The new tradition is actually getting limited beer for Andy.
Andyっち曰く、一年のうちのこの日にしか売り出されない限定ビールがありまして、数も限られているので一人一本だけ売ってもらえる場合がほとんどなのです。
Andy says that they sell this kind of beer just on Black Friday and the number of production is limited as well, so most of liquor stores sell only 1 bottle for 1 person.
なので、ツリーハントの日、パパママの家の近くの酒屋さんが9時に開店するのに合わせて家を出たんですが、酒屋さんに行くと既に20人くらいの人が列を作っていました。
So, we left Dad&Mom's house before a local liquor store near their house opened at 9am, but there's already a line of 20 people or so in front of the store.
前に並んでいた人に聞くと、一番早い人は朝の4時くらいからキャンプ用のガスコンロを持ち込んで並んでいたらしいです。
The man in front of us said that people in the front of the line showed up around 4am with a camp portable stove.
このお店では2つのフレーバーが売られていたんですが、数の少ない方はHit-chan達の前で売り切れてしまったんですが、もう1つのフレーバーは無事に手に入れる事ができました。
The store actually had 2 kinds of flavor of the beer, but the one of them was less and sold out before us. Though, we could get the other flavor.
で、手に入れたのがこちら。パパママとブラッド君も並んでくれたので、Andyっちは5本手に入れる事ができました。(笑)
This is the special beer. Dad&Mom and Brad also stood in the line for Andy, so Andy got 5 bottles for total.
無事にお目当てのビールを手に入れた後は、いざクリスマスツリー狩りへ。
After we got the special beer, we headed to the tree farm.
途中、いつも通っている高速が工事中で酷い渋滞だったので、急遽違うルートに変更。
On the way, there was a construction and it caused a awful traffic, so we took a detour.
到着～。皆のお気に入り、ハッピーランドファームです。
Here we are! This is our favorite farm, Happy Land Farm.
中ではクリスマスオーナメントなども売ってます。
They sell cute Christmas ornaments and more cute stuff.
いざ、お気に入りの一本を探しに行きます。
Okay now, we're going to find the one.
で、今年の我が家のツリーはこちらに決定。切る前に記念撮影。
This is our tree this year.
今年は電動のこぎりを持参したので、切るのは1分もかからずあっという間でした。楽～。
We brought an electric saw this year, so it didn't take 1 min to cut it off. So easy!!!
切ったツリーを運んで、枯れ葉を落として綺麗にしてもらって。。。
We carried the tree in the car to the front of the shop and then they cleaned off the dry leaves.
コンパクトに網で包んでもらいます。
And wrapped it with plastic net.
今年もギリギリで銀ちゃんに載せました。来年は赤ちゃんがいるので、対策を考えなくちゃね。(笑)
Then, we put it in my car as always. Oh well, we have to think about a different way next year since we're going to have our baby.
で、家に帰ってきてAndyっちが早速立ててくれました。（今年はスタンドも新調しました。）
When we're back home, Andy trimed it a little bit and put it in the stand. (We got a new stand this year too.)
いやぁ、今までで一番大きなツリーです。
Actually, this is the biggest tree ever.
ちょっと大きすぎて、ツリーの下にプレゼントを置く場所がありません。(笑)
It's a little bit too big to put presents underneath. Haha.
なので、Andyっちが下の方をもう少し切ってくれる予定です。
So, Andy's going to cut some bottom branches later.
あとはツリーの飾りつけと、赤ちゃんが生まれる前にプレゼントのラッピングなどをできるだけ終わらせておきたいなぁと思ってます。
Now, I want to finish putting ornaments on the tree and wrap as many presents as possible before our baby is born.
という訳で、今年のツリー狩りでも素敵なツリーを見つける事ができました！！！
