さて、先日はAndyっちのお誕生日だったんですが、その週の土曜日、ちょっと豪華ディナーを食べに行きました。
So, I talked about Andy's birthday here the other day and on the weekend, we went to have a fancy dinner together.
とは言え、お誕生日当日にはパパママとブラッド君とディナーに行ってご馳走になったので、「もう、別に豪華ディナーは良いかなぁ。」という気持ちになったんですが、「赤ちゃんが生まれたら、高級レストランで食事する事が難しくなるから行っておくか～。」という事になりました。(笑)
Well, like what I wrote here, we had a dinner at a restaurant with Dad&Mom and Brad on his birthday, so we're kind of thinking, "Mmm, maybe we can skip a fancy dinner this time." Though, a part of us also thought, "Well, it'd probably get harder to go to a fancy dinner once our baby is born, so we might as well do it before that."
今回行ったレストランは、Hit-chanが6年間働いていたカリブーと同じオシャレタウンにあるステーキレストラン、Gianni's Steak Houseというお店です。
THe restaurant we picked up this time was a steak restaurant called Gianni's Steak House which is located in the same town, Wayzazta, where I used to work.
Hit-chanがこのレストランの2軒隣のカリブーで働いていた頃は、Andyっちはちょっと一杯飲みにこのレストランのバーにちょくちょく来ていたんですが、違うカリブーに異動した後はこの街にくる機会はめっきり減ってしまいました。
The Caribou where I used to work was actually only 2 doors away from this restaurant, so Andy used to stop by their bar area for a couple of drinks. Though, since I was transferred to a dinnerent Caribou, we don't visit this town so much anymore.
Hit-chanが頼んだロブスタービスク。フレンチオニオンスープもあったんですが、Andyっちが、「近々家でフレンチオニオンスープ作る予定やで。」と言ったので、こちらのロブスタービスクにしました。
For an appetizer, I ordereed their Lobster Bisque. They also had French Onion soup that I love, but Andy said, "I'm gonna make French onion soup soon." So, I chose Lobster Bisque this time.
Andyっちは前菜にエスカルゴ。殻が外されていたので、エスカルゴの見た目が苦手なHit-chanも大丈夫でした。食べませんでしたけど。(笑) Andyっちは美味しいって言ってました。
Andy got Escargot for his appetizer. They already took the shells off which was nice to me because I don't like the look of Escargot. I still didn't try them though.
Andyっちのメインはボーンインフィレステーキで、サイドにマッシュルーム。
Andy's entree was bone in fillet steak with sauteed mushrooms.
Hit-chanはステーキサラダにしました。
I got this steak salad.
もちろん、高級ステーキレストランだけあって、ステーキのお味はめちゃ旨でした。
They're a fancy steak resutrant, so my steak was delicious with no doubt.
Andyっちの方のステーキも美味しかったそうです。そうそう、サイドのマッシュルームも食べさせてもらったんですが、それも美味しかったです。
Andy said that his steak tasted great as well. Oh yeah, I stole some of his mushrooms and they're pretty delicious too.
折角なので、デザートもいただきました。チョコレートケーキ。こちらは食べきれなかったので、家に持って帰ってから完食。美味しかったです。
We also shared this chocolate cake as well. We couldn't eat the whole piece at the restaurant, so finished it at home.
お誕生日おめでとう！！これから何年も一緒にお祝いできますように！！！
Happy, Happy birthday, Andy-chan!!! I hope that we can celebrate many more of your birthdays together!!!
本当に優しくて寛大な旦那さんがいて、Hit-chanは幸せ者でございます。
I'm the luckiest girl to have such a sweet and generous husband.
赤ちゃんが生まれても、本当に素晴らしいお父さんになってくれる事は間違いないでしょう！
I'm 100% sure that he's going to be a great dad for our baby as well!
