本日はお日柄も良く日本は子供の日で4連休、豪州は労働記念日で3連休。シティーから北に60ｋｍのポート・ダグラスへ。豪州では国民の祝日には酒の提供を禁じている州がかなりあります。平日でも公共の場所や公園やビーチでの飲酒・喫煙は禁止。豪州の交通事故、喧嘩による傷害、器物破損、薬物使用など多くの犯罪が酒がらみ。法律では18歳から飲酒が可能ですが21歳に引き上げやアルコール飲料の価格引き上げの案が検討されています。

Today is a lucky day. People are having 4 consecutive holidays including Child Day today in Japan and 3 holidays including Labor Day today in Australia. We traveled up to Port Douglas, 60km away from City. More than a few states in Australia ban people from drinking on National Holidays. Even during weekdays drinking and smoking at the public spaces, the parks, and the beaches are banned. In Australia most traffic accidents, injury in fighting, property damages, and drugs are connected to drinking. Although you can drink when you become 18 years old in the present law, new law has been considered to make it to 21 and to raise the price of alcohol.
