カサブランカの旧市街地

モロッコは初体験。アラブ人とベリベリ人が多く、黒人はほとんど見かけません。名画「カサブランカ」はほとんどがセットで撮影されたものだそうです。旧市街地には迷路のようなスーク(市場)も残っていて、民族衣装の人々も見かけますが、実際は近代的な大都市です。

This is the first time for me to visit Morocco. The Arabian and the Beriberi people are majority and we see few black people. Most of the scenes in Masterpiece film “Casablanca” was taken in the filming studio. The sukus(markets) like a maze are remained in the old urban area. We can also see people in native dresses but it is actually the big modern city.
