週末や祝日にはビーチでBBQがOZの定番。ほとんどのビーチは飲酒、喫煙は禁止。タバコのフィルターはウミガメや魚を殺します。3連休だったのでここトリニティー・ビーチでも警察が飲酒チェック。豪州の交通事故や暴力事件の多くはアルコールがらみ。祝日の交通違反は反則点が2倍の罪。オーストラリア・デーと中国正月が重なったためかアジア人が多数摘発されたようです。日中韓蒙を始めアジア人は品格に欠けるのか？
