船出のドラ

11月2日(木)晴

横浜で500人の乗客を乗せて、いよいよピースボートの第55回航海の出港です。旅客ターミナルと船のデッキはどちらも満員電車状態。大音響の出港曲が流れる中、7色のテープが飛び交い、シャンパンで乾杯。感極まって泣き出す人もいます。そして出港のドラが鳴ります。

Now it is departure time for the 55th Peace Boat cruise with 500 passengers embarked at Yokohama port. The passenger terminal and the deck were as busy as the jammed commuter rails. The departure music is played loudly, the 7-colored paper streamers fly past each other, and the people have toast with champagne. There were several passengers who start crying and choking up. Finally the departure gong go off.
