さて、こちらミネソタ、9月に入って涼しくなりました。
Here in MN, the weather has been cooler once September came here.
このブログでアップする記事にはタイムラグがあるので、最近投稿していた記事は7月、8月の頃の様子をシェアしているので、写真ではすごく暖かそうに見えると思います。
There's usually some time lag between the time that I update an article on my blog and the time I actually did the event written on the article, so the recent articles that I'v updated here are mostly about the events that I enjoyed in July or August. So, from the pictures on those articles, you'd probably assume that it's still very warm in MN.
なので、今日はつい先週行ったお散歩の様子をシェアして、最近のミネソタの気候はこんな感じだよ～という雰囲気をお届けできればと思います。
So today, I want to share one of the recent walks with May-chan here so that you can see what the weather looks like in MN.
8月の終わりから体調を崩して、9月に入ってからも家事などは問題なくできるようになったものの、何だかやる気と元気がイマイチ出なかったHit-chan。
Like I talked here, I started getting sick from the end of August and still didn't feel the best or motivated for much in September though I could get recovered back enough to do my usual house chores as usual .
なので、めいを外で遊ばせるのも我が家の庭付近のみで、車で公園に連れて行く元気はありませんでした。
（その代わり週末にAndyっちが連れだしてくれていたので、めいの気分転換はできていました。）
So, I didn't have much energy to take May-chan out to a park or somewhere, and just had made her play around our yard.
(Instead of me, Andy kindly took her to some places on weekends so that May-chan could be refreshed.)
で、先週の金曜日、「よし、家の近くのガーデンに行ってみよう！」と思い立って行ってきました。
Last Friday, I don't know why, but I suddenly felt like taking May-chan out, "Okay, let's try to go to the garden near our house!!"
お天気はそんなに良くなくて、ちょっと寒いくらいだったんですけどね。
The weather wasn't so good and the temperature was a little chilly.
実はこのガーデン、昨年初めてめいを連れて行った所で、我が家から車で10分もかかりません。
I introduced this garden on my blog when I first took May-chan there last year. It's less than 10mins drive from our house.
ガーデンに着いためい、いつもと違う雰囲気で嬉しそう。
From the moment when I took May-chan out of my car, she got a big smile on her face and seemed to be enjoyed being somewhere different from usual.
早速タンポポを見つけて、最近私達の中で流行っている種飛ばしをせがまれました。(笑)
Our recent trend is that we blow dandelions' seeds on the street around our house. So, May-chan asked me to blow them once she found one at the garden too. Haha
もうすぐしたら一面雪と氷の世界になってしまうミネソタですが、まだまだ綺麗なお花を見る事ができました。
It'll turn out to be a world of snow and ice shortly here in MN, but we still could enjoy a lot of beautiful flowers at the time.
ガーデンに咲いている綺麗なお花にも少し興味を示しましたが、それよりもとにかく塀に上りたいお年頃。
May-chan was interested in the pretty flowers in the garden, but she'd rather enjoy more athletic play by climbing up the retaining wall.
これはちょっと高すぎて登頂ならず。できなくてめっちゃ怒ってましたけど。(笑)
The wall was slightly too high for her to climb up on, which made her so upset. LOL
家の周りで遊ばせる時は車が通るので「そっち行ったらあかんよ！」としょっちゅう言うのですが、ここだとめいも伸び伸び行きたい所に行く事ができます。
When I let her play around our house, I often have to tell her, "May-chan, don't go that way!" since there's some traffic. Compared to that, I could let her go anywhere she wanted to, which made both of us happy and comfortable.
全力疾走も楽しそう。（Hit-chan、最後に全力疾走したのって何年前やろ？笑）
She enjoyed running as fast as she could too! (I don't remember when I tried to run as fast as I could last. Haha)
ガーデンの中にもソーシャルディスタンスを呼びかける看板が立っていましたが、この時はほぼ貸し切り状態だったので安心でした。
In the garden, we saw many signs telling you to keep social distance, but thankfully, there's nobody else but us, and we didn't have to worry about it at all.
で、やっぱりベンチには座るよね。
Of course, the bench lover wanted to sit down on every single bench in the garden.
このベンチ2つ並んでいるゾーンでは、1つに座って、下りて、もう1つに座って下りて。。。を繰り返しておりました。
In this spot where 2 benches were next to each other, May-chan sat down on one and then went to the other repeatedly.
湖に面しているガーデンで、こんな展望デッキもあります。
The garden was on the lake and there's a deck over the lake too.
で、何故かそこでハイハイ。
I don't know why, but May-chan started crawling there. Haha.
この日一番のお楽しみポイントはこの階段。上って下りて、上って下りてを繰り返してました。
The biggest hit of the day was the stairs. Again, May-chan repeatedly went up and down the stairs.
こんな感じのギリシャ神殿みたいな場所がありまして。。。
There's also a spot like a Greek temple.
Hit-chan知らなかったんですが、この場所に住んでいらっしゃった方が皆が楽しめるようにという事で、ガーデンにして寄付してくださったみたいです。
（寄付してくださったご家族の思いで心が温かくなったのと同時に、このガーデンの広さから考えて結構な豪邸だったんだろうなぁと下世話な事を考えてしまったHit-chanでした。）
I didn't know about this, but this park was dedicated to the open public by a family who used to live there.
(The love from the generous family made my heart warm, but at the same time, a vulgar thought, "Wow, from the size of the garden, there must have been a mansion here." crossed my mind.)
しばらく遊んでいたんですが、途中から団体さんが集まってきて何かアートクラスのようなイベントをされるようだったので、その時点で家に帰る事にしました。
We played there for a while, but there's a group of 10-15 people showing up for an outdoor art class or something there, and I thought that it would be a good time for us to leave.
めいはもっともっと遊んでいたそうでしたが、Hit-chanが疲れたのでこの日はこれでおしまい！
Without a doubt, May-chan wanted to play there more, but I started getting tired and ended the play for the day.
久しぶりに我が家の庭以外でめいを遊ばせることができてHit-chanも大満足でした！！！
It was a great time for me that I could take out May-chan somewhere else but our garden and see her having much fun there!
ほら、結構厚着してるでしょ？先週のミネソタはこんな感じの気候でした。
Yup, we're in fall clothes on the day, right? The weather last week in MN was like it.
という訳で、今日はこの辺で～！！！
