4か月ぶり、家族集合 (Family reunion after 4 month trip)

Hello there!



皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's your life treating you?



こちらミネソタ、連日とっても良いお天気が続いておりますが、Hit-chanは相変わらず出不精です。
Here in MN, it's been nice and beautiful days these days. Though, I'm still a lazy butt and mostly stay inside the house all day.
Hehe.



Andyっちの方は、今年のゴルフシーズンを開始して、初ラウンドが結構上手くいったみたいで喜んでました。

Andy just started his golf season this summer and he was very pleased with his first round of the season the other day.




Hit-chan、ネットで妊娠中はゴルフをしない方が良いと読んで、「今年はできないなぁ。。。」と思っていたんですが、こちらでの初検診で担当看護師さんが、
I actually read some articles about playing golf when you're pregnant and they said you shouldn't play, so I was thinking "Oh, I'll have to skip it this year." Though, when Andy and I first visited the clinic here, our nurse told us



「ゴルフは、体を捻るからダメって言ったりされるけど、大丈夫よ～。」
"Oh yeah, people concern it because you twist your body in golf, but you can play it!"




と教えてくれました。
Yay!




なので、無理がなければ、今年も1回くらいはやってみようかなぁと思ったりしてます。
So, if I'll be fine, I want to play golf in this season once at least.




さて、Hit-chan、日本を離れて住んでもうすぐ8年、一時帰国する度に思う事は、両方の国に、「いってらっしゃい！」と「お帰り！」を言ってくれる家族がいるという事です。
By the way, I've lived in MN almost for 8 years and every time I go back to Japan, I get reminded that I have precious and warm familes both in the countries who say to me, "Have a good trip!! Take care!!" and "Welcome back home!!!"



どちらの国を発つ時も、「バイバイ～！」と言うのはほろ苦い気持ちになるのですが、どちらの国に帰ってくる時にも、「おかえり！！寂しかったよ～！」と言ってくれる家族がいるのは本当に幸せな事です。

When I leave either home, I always feel so sad and bittersweet to say "See you! Bye!" to my precious people. On the other hand, when I come back to either home, they tell me, "Welcome back home! I missed you!!!!" which is very blessing to me.



で、Hit-chanが日本から帰って来た週の日曜日、ただいまの挨拶と母の日のお祝いも兼ねて、パパママの家に集まりました。
On the first weekend after I got back to MN from Japan, Andy and I visited dad&mom's house to say "I'm home!" and celebrate belated Mother's day together.









相変わらず、ママが中心で料理を作ってくれます。
As alwayas, mom cooks most of the stuff for us.









ブラッド君もAndyっちもお手伝い。
Brad and Andy helped her too.




Hit-chanは写真係。
Me? I was just taking pictures.




Hit-chan、普段から甘やかされているんですが、妊娠したという事もあって、皆余計に甘やかしてくれます。(笑)
Yeah, they always spoil me a lot, but I'm pregnant now and they spoil me more!! Haha.



この日も旅の疲れが残っていたので、皆がせっせと料理を準備する中、リビングの床で寝転んでおりました。

I was still tired from the long trip and flight, so I way lying on the floor in the living room while everybody else was busy cooking.




そんなHit-chanを見ても、誰も文句を言わず、ママなんて
Even when I was being lazy like that, nobody complained about it. What's better (or worse) is that mom kindly asked me



「Hit-chan、毛布いる？枕は？」
"Do you want a blanket? Pillow??"




と聞いてくれるくらいの優しさなのです。
and spoiled me more! Hehe.




パパもグリルに火をつけたりしてくれてました。良いお天気でしょ？
Dad fired the grill. It's nice out, isn't it?




ディナー完成！
Dinner is ready!




ハンバーガーだったよ。
We made hamburgers.



ママがサラダも作ってくれていて、Hit-chan的にはそれが美味しくていっぱい食べちゃいました。
Mom made delicious salad too and that was the biggest hit for me that day.




日本から帰ってきてから、パパママだけじゃなくて、ブラッド君にも4か月ぶりに会ったので、皆変わらない様子に安心したのと、
It was actually the first time for me to see not only dad&mom but Brad too and they seemed doing well just as before I left for the trip. So, I was kind of relieved.




「あ～、ホームに戻ってきたなぁ。」
"Yeah, I'm back home!!!"




と、とってもホッコリした気持ちになりました。
They made me feel comfortable and literally homey.




という訳で、今日はこの辺で！！！
